I had a really nasty experience today with the cashier Chris. I did call a few times to relay my interaction to a manger but they clearly were so understaffed and the call kept ringing and then kicked back to the operator multiple times. I was in line checking out and the Cashier verbally told her manager she had to leave right at 1pm. It was a few minutes before 1pm. She then got to me to ring me out and I saw the woman in line behind me had items and I wanted to help speed everything up being considerate of the cashier who had to leave right away and the person behind me. I grabbed the divider that tells the cashier when it’s a different customer and I was shocked at how Chris actually yelled at me telling me to put it back and that she had a system and that I was screwing it up. She literally barked at me and scolded me like I was a five year old. I literally was shocked how rude and nasty she was. I said I was just trying to help and she muttered something under her breath. I didnt hear what she said, but I am sure it was rude. I looked to the woman in line behind me to gauge her reaction and to see if I was crazy and she looked at me and said WOW! My boyfriend also was horrified at how rude this woman was. She fished the transaction and I know she knew she was in the wrong because you could cut the tension with a knife! Read morehonestly have shopped here a lot. It’s disappointing that I had a bad experience here today, 03/22/23. I came in for a return but of course I came shopping as well. Once we were done me and my partner separated while I went to make the return and she went to self checkout. She witnessed the attitude the customer service rep was giving me after I showed him a return receipt. The same receipt that TARGET allows their target circle members to look up on THEIR app. He continues on saying I can’t use a phone barcode and rudely asks if I have the card I used because they can’t allow returns with phone receipts. I was confused and told him “well that’s new” and he responds by saying this is a “policy”. Then he basically asks if I have the physical card used to make the purchase, I said I used the red card and he said I need use the physical. I explained to him that when I initially bought it at self check out, I used the barcode in the app for my red card. He told me well I can’t do a return and that it wouldn’t work. I finally showed him the product and he aggressively takes the item that I just set down in front of me. Very unprofessional he asked me if there something wrong with it and I said nothing. Read moreThis was one of the worst experiences ever. I was at this store last week looking for Levi's pants for my brother. They didn't have size for the style I wanted so I decided to check online. I found what I was looking for and picked Saugus location for pick up. I came to the store for pick up and the wrong style was delivered. First I thought it was an error and employee will help me fix this. Yeah right. She pretty much pointed me to mens section so I can look on my own which I did but no luck. Customer service employees were not even trying to fix issue and they pretty much gave me phone number from different location to call. I asked them to call for me which she did but after 15 min of hold she looked at me and said, I'm sorry but service got disconnected. This was the worst experience I ever had. Stuff was rude and pretty much ignored me. After almost one hour spent waiting I decided to return my item just to get out but there was an issue with return since item sent wasn't never even scanned. I used to shop at Target often but this experience really got to me. I will avoid this location going forward and try to go elsewhere. They shouldn't be promoting online orders and pick ups when they can't provide their customers correct items. Very disappointed with service and how they handled this situation.
