AVOID THIS PLACE!!!! Absolute worst experience at a park ever. Apparently this park is not dog friendly and they’ll threaten to take you to jail even after you comply and try to leave. Let me explain. My husband and I stopped by here to let our 2 yr old son get some energy out since we were on a road trip and did not realize you weren’t supposed to have pets there. The park was empty, it was cold and wet, nobody at the park instructed us that we could not have our dog there, but someone from the park called the cops on us. Our dog never left our side she was leashed and did not even use the bathroom and when the cops pulled up and asked us to leave, we left or should I say tried to. Then the cops didn’t believe the identification information was correct and threatened to take us to jail all in front of my 2 year old son and 4 month old daughter. Let me remind you all we did was enter this public park with our well trained, leashed dog. You can even see in the photos our dog is outside the park and the cops are still giving us a hard time bc we ‘trespassed’ a public park. Also we had been at the park for a total of maybe 5 minutes when the cops pulled up. To the coward that worked there and called the cops instead of simply letting us know the rule about pets, I sure hope you don’t judge someone on their looks realize if someone is out there with a child then they’re probably harmless and you shouldn’t work a job if you’re scared to speak to someone that looks different than you.

One of my absolute favorite places! I love the Street Park. They have such a beautiful walking track full of beautiful blooms and foliage! A gorgeous water fountain AND a splash pad for the kiddos! They have a super nice playground for kids AND an outdoor gym equipment section that's available for adults. Plenty of seating available the gorgeous wooden benches, placed in sunny and shady areas. A beautiful pavilion area for picnics and large groups. The gorgeous stone gazebo. Large bathroom facilities that are always clean and well maintained. AND a bonus little free library box where you take books and leave them and everyone benefits! This is one of my favorite places ever and I highly recommend it to anyone who's in the area during open season.

Our City park is a great place for kids and adults. They have a nice walking track and exercise equipment in one corner. They have benches all the way around walking track. And around play ground area. The have clean bathroom facilities which they keep in stock. And a water fountain that is beautiful. The grounds are kept up so nice. It is safe with a fence around and security cameras set up with the police dept. Has one gate in and out. Very nice pavilions for parties. And a great splash pad area. It is just a great place for all ages. Only suggestions, I wished there was a way to keep the sandbox clean from cats littering in it. And a way to keep the play ground equipment from getting so hot to touch in summer afraid a child...
