I think when it comes to Dollar trees it's all about the location. The one off of Sandy plains road in Marietta is a great one yet now I live in Decatur and I have visited the one In Kennesaw off of Cobb Pkwy. Those two are a disaster with boxes and crap everywhere they're definitely looking for a lawsuit it's almost like they're asking for one. Because if anyone falls myself included an attorney will be involved. Regional walkthroughs should enforce safety protocols first and foremost. Most Dollar trees are unorganized and like to throw everything in the baskets at the bottom of the isles. But one thing that bothers me in particular is if your locks for lockers sell so quickly and sell out quickly, why are you not ordering more? Why are you not ordering a surplus if you know you're going to sell out within a day or two of the shipment arrival? That is senseless and keeping them from making money. Like everything else they should have options and should be ordering them in surplus. That's just a dumb move. Clean up the potential lawsuits....it's not a difficult job to manage a dollar tree. Then to change everything to $1.25. And add $5-$10 items is just stupid. Everything is cheaper at Walmart. It's started to look like Walmart for everything for from me from now on. The only reason I come here is to look to see if they have a lock which they never do and to get get gift cards and cheap gift bags or maybe some birthday decor in a specific color. Times are changing folks. For...
Read moreBefore I go to a store, I either call or check Google for any updates such as operating days and times. This is something I've done in the past quite a bit. But it has become a regular practice since COVID. After checking Google for the closing time, we went to this store and got there around 8:40pm. When we walked in, the cashier informed us that they didn't accept cash after 8pm. I informed her that this was not on Google when I checked and that if this were an actual policy, it should be on Google. I also asked where this new "rule" was written and there was no answer. I would've gone to a different location if I had known and now it would be too late to get to another location before they closed. We left and another lady that heard the new "rule" walked out too. I drove by the store 3 weeks later and now there's a dingy, handwritten sign on the door. That let me know that this is not a company policy. If it were, there would be information on Google and/or a professionally made placard on the door or in the store. This is pure laziness. The store closes at 9pm. Not having to count money at 9pm gets the employees out of the door by 9:05pm. Employees not wanting to do their job the way it should be done is an inconvenience to the shopping public. I haven't been in a...
Read moreThe Dollar tree employees were very persistent and knowledgeable with asking and telling me where things could be found and how much items used to be / so since everything's gone up in Dollar tree stores $1.25 and above such as three to five dollars. This also was one of the cleanest Dollar trees that I have actually been in. Most Dollar trees that you go in usually is messy junkie and things are just all over the place. But I was actually surprised that nothing was all on the floor or anything like that, it was almost like if people come in with their kids they're cleaning up right after they leave or even while they're in there. The shelves were quite stacked with items, however I was not fully able to get an amount of what I need it but I did get some items so can't complain. But once again this was a really nice excellent...
