The best place to park is on Main Street / Old Town. Note that Park police are very active here. Main Street has a diverse collection of retail stores and restaurants.
If you decide to take a stroll down the pier, know that there are no restrooms at the end. Restrooms are located to the left of the pier down the ramp, where there's also a9 lovely children's playground with a wonderful view of the ocean. (Eisenhower Park)

Been using this lot for years. When I arrive, my priority is to pay the parking fee appropriate for the amount of time I spend at Seal Beach. Once paid I should be good, right? In August of 2020 I was fined for parking with the nose of my car out. Whatha?? Upon review, changes are made in 2019. As a non resident, how am I to know?? There are signs, I see after the fact. But from my position parked that day, signs were posted to the right towards the pier and behind me above at about 6 feet or higher. I parked, paid at kiosk, & went left to the beach. I am 5'1". I didn't feel like I had to do a 360 up & down or left to right just to update myself on a violations. I didn't think parking nose out was a violation??
