The SB Shoppe is a Seal Beach Main St. must-see. They have excellent quality clothing and beach-y products, and the 2 ladies who work there are THE nicest, and SO sweet - always. I literally stop in there every single time I visit back in the area (I grew up here 50 years ago, and often return to see family/friends). And yes, I go see them every time... all the way from FL since my family moved to the east coast years ago.
I honestly feel like I haven't really visited my hometown unless and until I've walked in that door, and chatted with those nice ladies some... and always buy a couple of the super high quality T-shirts for my girls back home, on trips they weren't able to join.
I look forward to perusing whatever they've got each and every time I'm in town, which just takes me back to the days when I used to ride my bike to the beach and my best friend and I walked along Main St. which still...
Read moreWe were in town visiting and saw some really cool towels for my niece and nephew in the storefront display. I found the same one on the rack for my nephew but they were unfortunately out of the one for my niece but they assured me it was on order. Shirley not only called me but took the time to send me a text with the receipt for shipping and let me know when it was scheduled to arrive. When it arrived there was a thank you note inside with their card inside and the towel was wrapped up well so nothing would happen to it in transit. WAY above and beyond from what most companies do these days. I'm so impressed and I would definitely purchase a shirt or sweatshirt from them next time I'm in town. Thank you Shirley...

While he was looking at shirts to buy they were snickering and laughing at him due to his size. Insinuating he was too big to fit into anything in the store. He is 14 and I am embarrassed for them. They were out loud laughing and then while he looked at them they asked him what he was looking at. He felt terrible about himself as we left the store and just wanted to go home. I find this adult behavior despicable and I will never step foot in that store again. I will also tell everyone I know who frequently visit seal Beach to boycott the...
