I've seen people fishing here, teenagers jumping off the pier into the water, people blasting terrible music, people blasting good music, a man on a bike where the back wheel can pivot like the front, people breakdancing, a man cooking steak on the ground, a guy using a fancy drone to impress a girl, someone digging through the trash, and an ungodly amount of pigeon poop on the benches. It also sounds like the apocalypse when strong wind blows under the pier. Best place in...

A great stop if your on the boardwalk and need to take a water break for you and your pup. I've seen lots of sea life from here. Harbor seals and.... well that's pretty much it. Just some harbor seals always swimming out in the bay. Have only seen them in the summer months though. OH, and it has an AMAZING view of Seattle. This view and the one form Kerry park are probably the two best...

Alki Beach has awesome views back towards downtown Seattle. We had a difficult time finding parking during the weekend. Be prepared to either, arrive earlier in the day, drive around and wait for a spot, or walk a half mile or so to get to the beach.

Alki Beach has awesome views back towards downtown Seattle. We had a difficult time finding parking during the weekend. Be prepared to either, arrive earlier in the day, drive around and wait for a spot, or walk a half mile or so to get to the beach. We rented bikes and rode around. We did not try any restaurants or anything else, great place for families with kids, once you find a parking spot.
