Ann's Hair Salon & Nails — Attraction in Seattle

This place might only be suitable for seniors with thin hair (no offense to seniors) or at least that's what she likes. If you have normal full hair, she would complain about taking up too much of her time even if it's her who started late on me because the customer before me took 10 to 15 minutes of my time slot. Very poor time management! She schedules half an hour for all hair cuts continuously without any minute of cushion time in between. So if one customer is late, all the following schedules are screwed up. On top of that, during your already shortened time frame, she has to answer all her phone calls for appointments or anything else (don't understand why she doesn't let voicemail pick up), and talk to all walk-ins (she put her price sign on the sidewalk near her front door). So go figure how much time you can truly get from her without being rushed! Also, I've never met any hairdresser in my life who complains about customers' full hair just because she prefers to cutting thin hair: very rude and ridiculous! If you want a "normal" hair cut service, but not just want to save a few bucks, go...

I’m incredibly frustrated that our 2nd experience here was just as awful as the first. Both times I called and made an apt for my son and my husband at 4:30 and 5pm. The first time, they claimed I made only one apt. I thought maybe it was an honest mistake. This time I made sure to confirm and repeat the time several times. When we went for the apt, again she claimed it was an earlier time. My guess is that they take walk ins and decide to not honor waiting for apts. it’s beyond frustrating when we only have so much time to spend on this. I will not be going back and suggest that anyone with an apt call several times and still hope...

I dont normally write reviews. But Ann's shop wasn't exactly a high end store. But after going in for a hair cut. She was detailed and really took her time to cut my hair. Which it is important to me. She did not rush like most barbers do and get paid. Or at least it didn't feel like it. Anyway, i am impressed with her cut and I recommend Ann to other customers. Very affordable. Her english isn't her 1st language. But was able to communicate with her and she understood how i wanted my cut....
