Tangerine Thai Restaurant — Restaurant in Seattle

I LOVE this place and so glad there’s a local Thai restaurant that I can walk to since moving to the area this year. I believe this is family owned and the service is great! I first took my friends here with a baby during the November storm - we needed somewhere close and decided to try it out hoping to make it our go-to Thai place. It was such a hit. We were treated so well, even with a baby. The prices are super affordable and everyone was surprised on how cheap it was for Ballard or anywhere in the Seattle area for that regard. The red duck curry was a banger with spice level 2! The menu number is 93. Gaeng Phet Ped Yang. Portions are generous too! Lastly, I love the atmosphere - decorations and beautiful seating. I went back and ordered take-out when my family was visiting for Thanksgiving. The order was hot, on time, and accurate. Please go support these folks!

i haven’t written a review in a while but this place moved me to write one because more people should know about this restaurant.

my friend and i went here last thursday for dinner and im so excited that there is delicious thai food walking distance from me! definitely would recommend.

we got pad see ew which had a lot of vegetables which i appreciate. the noodles were the perfect texture and the savory sauce was spot on (some places in my opinion make the sauce too sweet).

we also got the pineapple fried rice which was amazing! got spice level 2 and i will try for level 3 next time. someone brought us out spicy sauces which was so appreciated.

i definitely would get these two dishes again specifically - tastes homemade, seasoned with heart, and was a comforting meal. large portion sizes to bring home also.

When I tell you this was one of the best experiences I've ever had at a restaurant I mean it!! This is a family run shop and they all took the time to come and chat with each table, about how the meal was going, and how else they could serve us. The best part was our waiter was the teenage son of the family and just had the most positive vibe around him! On top of that the food was out of this world: cheap, delicious, and good portions.
