This beach serves a great need in the community, and it's a well-used, well-loved place. I wish they could install a bit more sand on the beach? I wish they could clean up the litter more frequently? More important, I wish the pool in the community center could get fixed up and reopened. And most important, why are the diving boards gone? This summer, over and over, I watched kids hang off all the metal frames on the diving platform, which seemed a lot more dangerous that actually having diving boards. I hope the city spends more money in the coming year to give this place some more maintenance and love....
