Truly a must see if you're visiting Cedar Park or Lake City. Gorgeous views, places to sit, and some sand to play in. Inconveniently located to drive to, but near Burke Gillman Trail. Tons of street parking. Own the 1% by playing in the park they wanted to privatize!

So glad that public access was upheld. A tremendous victory for a community treasure. Never give up public waterfront access.

Public beach access close to burke gilman trail. Great place to stop for a break. Can even take a dip in the lake here.

Made the mistake of trying to park close but none available. Best parking was actually on the road that runs above the stairs that lead down to it. If you ride a bike or walk the Burke Gilman has the best access. Nice to be down by the water but honestly I'm not sure it was worth the money the city spent to turn this into a public place. I feel kinda bad for the folks in the little houses on each side when the kids there start screaming. I can't imagine it's fun to have a 'beach' that looks directly into your house either. I didn't stay very long there since Matthew's Beach is right...

Clean, well-maintained, and great for relaxation. The walking trails are lovely, surrounded by greenery and water views, and there are plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the scenery as you walk through. It’s nice for families to seat and kids to enjoy the calm water. It has a calm, welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re taking a morning jog or just watching the sunset. It's...

The Beach is public property and always was. Seattle law holds that the ends of streets that terminate at the shoreline are public beaches. Neener shouldn't live next to a public beach or park of they don't want to hear children. I'm glad the city followed its own laws and that we all have a nice shore access at that point...
