Bangkok99 Food Truck — Restaurant in Seattle

This was my first time trying this food truck due to a power outage at my apartments, and I’m so glad I decided to stop by! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by a friendly woman who was patient and informative while I placed my order.

I went with the Pad Thai and Thai Fried Rice, along with a coconut juice. While waiting, the smell of the food already told me it was going to be amazing—and it absolutely was! I’ve eaten at many Thai restaurants, but this food truck honestly beats them all. The chili powder they provided added such an authentic Thai touch, giving me a real sense of what I can look forward to when I eventually visit Thailand.

The coconut juice seemed to have a bit of sugar, but it was still very refreshing alongside my meal. The Pad Thai was perfectly blended with great flavor, and the spice level (3 stars) was balanced, though I enjoyed kicking it up with the chili powder.

The Thai Fried Rice was so good I couldn’t put my spoon down! From the sweetness of the raisins to the semi-sweet pineapple to the crunch of the cashews—every bite was delicious. I also spotted another dish, Ka Pao, that I’ll definitely be back to try, along with another helping of that rice!

Friendly people, incredible flavors, and authentic touches—this spot is a gem....

The best affordable Thai in the area. Service is quick, friendly and the chef is amazing. I prefer to put my order in online so I can pick up quickly...

Personally I wish the location was better. There's a bunch of homeless who hang out who will break windows on the shell gas station. Last time I was by I had to sit in my car with the doors locked because a guy was screaming and throwing the trash can around at cars and people.

This was my first time trying this food truck after seeing it next door many times during visits at Hellbent. I ordered pickup through Doordash. Our dishes arrived with zero spice and no option to add any during ordering. Some feedback to the owners if they control the Doordash site is to add the spice level as an option for dishes. I'm still giving a good rating as the flavors and quality were nice and I am hopeful to have a better experience with spice level by not using...
