Hellbent is one of my three favorite breweries in Seattle. The beer is fantastic and top-tier. Strong selection variety with solid IPAs. They are dog friendly. Always a great food truck on site. Ample outdoor seating. Inside is comfortable and spacious. Large bar top. Comfortable tables and couches. Plenty of TVs. Pinball machines upstairs. And it has one of the coolest staffs around. If you don’t like them, you’re doing something wrong. Great atmosphere top to bottom.
Currently requires masking when not seated and proof of vaccination to sit in or outside. If you’re even-tempered and an adult, this shouldn’t be a problem. Their business appears to be doing just fine and most people have no issue with playing by the rules. They are busy. If you think this is in any way a violation of HIPAA, it means that you have zero clue what HIPAA is and who it affects. It is in no way, shape, or form a violation of HIPAA. And the staff knows this. So when you say it is, they know you’re wrong. The people who work there are smart and they have plenty of intelligent regulars, including some lawyers who actually know the law. Thank you for coming to my TED...
Read moreThis has been my go to place for beer in the area since they opened, but especially during the pandemic. Excellent protocols, clearly posted for customers and followed by staff make for a pleasent outing. One of the top breweries in Seattle, with a stable of regular offerings and a constant rotation of one off selections as they work to fine tune their next anniversary beer! Well mannered dogs are always welcome. I admit that I’ve had a couple of issues over the years but nothing so serious that I would trash the place over a seating issue at 7 on a Friday night Jami. BTW, they do reserve tables on request (just not during COVID). Forget the comments about the place being too loud, one night a year does not justify sour grapes neighbors who declined to join the party and instead chose to vent online that a local small business would dare to celebrate another successful year. There's SR 522 and a boarding kennel next door for goodness sake’s, as in barking 24 hours a...
Read moreA really nice addition to Lake City Way! The Hellbent guys have spent some serious dough turning the interior of their taproom into an awesome living room with great beer. The bar is spacious enough for people to sit, as well as walk up to get a pitcher. Take it upstairs to enjoy some arcade games, maybe shoot some pool, or make use of their boardgame collection.
Hellbent's beer is solid, especially for a brand-spankin'-new brewery. Their IPA skews floral and is appreciated by those that don't care for IPAs! Of course, they have other styles, too. If you're not into their beer, they have several guests taps -- including a cider, typically.
They do not serve food, but they tend to have a new food truck on site daily. Their patio provides quick and easy access to the truck -- no need to leave your beer behind! They even have space for some live performances.
Note: This is a 21+ establishment. Make sure you crack a window for any...
