A small but cozy branch of the Seattle library, with a very earthy and woodsy feeling to it. The architecture is nothing special, but it does allow a lot of light to soak the building, and the light shines on the wooden paneling used everywhere here. The atmosphere is distinctly Pacific Northwest: classy and subdued and vaguely ecological, not to dissimilar from that which one would find in Scandinavia. I do not know if I would intentionally take a long journey to find this place, but it is a serene neighborhood library, and it is a good place to visit when one is in the area.

Love this library! Super cute, kinda small but perfect for the neighborhood. 3 computers for public use but they have laptops you can check out. Meeting rooms upstairs parking down below there's an elevator to get from the bottom entrance (& parking) to the upstairs. A patio that's only open during the summer, lots of outlets and areas to sit and study, two drinking fountains a little area for kids books and story time sometimes and there's a men's room and women's room both with closed doors I know I have an issue with some libraries how they have the doors to the bathroom propped open and it's 5 feet from the checkout...
