It's very unfortunate. I grew up here in this part of town and love the west seattle area, but coming to watch friends, play softball at these fields was very sad. We go to other fields all around the Seattle area, So from that perspective, these fields are in extremely bad condition. The fields are dusty and dirty people are drinking heavily discarding beer, cans, bottles, et cetera and smoking Weed everywhere, I am not a hater f9r fun, but goodness Let's clean up our own mess at last right. The fields themselves are in very rough condition. There's no batter's box that anyone can see, the infield is extremely dusty. Nobody waters it down. Dust is flying everywhere and the grass is definitely not well kept to say the least. Then there's the bathroom, there's literally a brand new bathroom building up there by field three but it's all chained up closed up et cetera, no porta potties present. How are people and kids supposed to be there with no bathrooms???? There are porta pottes in the lower pee wee fields better locked up unless there's a game in play and those are a long ways away down a long, dusty dirty road from the main field area. It's unfortunate and clear. The city has just not picked this park to spend any money...

Read moreThis park has not changed much over the last thirty or so years since I've been visiting it. The paved path is bumpier and has more cracks in it, likewise the tennis and basketball courts. The views of the Duwamish River are now mostly obscured by trees. The playground seems to be in good shape and there is access to the West Duwamish Greenbelt trails making it an acceptable place for kids and dogs alike. Restrooms are near the south parking lot, not near the playground and are closed dusk to dawn. Picnic tables are near the playground, north parking lot. Both parking lots are locked at night and are wheelchair accessible, there is some onstreet...
