Do not go here if you like to get French Ombré dip powder!!! I told the nail tech exactly what I wanted from the start and she said okay and after prepping my nails all the sudden she tells me my nails were too short for French ombré saying she is just going to do regular French… I’ve been getting French ombré dip for years and never once have had this issue at any nail salons and questioned why she can’t just do what I am asking for… After being persistent and showing her a picture of French ombré she said reluctantly okay we can do it. She started with dip powder for the base coat and then took out a light pink gel paint (which I didn’t understand what happened to the dip process) and after she cured the polish she just dabbed white dip powder on my dry nail with a brush so the powder obviously didn't really stick and then just gel painted a clear top coat…. I have never had such a poor nail experience. Being charged for dip powder when I am given gel and a horrible paint job is frustrating, by my cuticles already has the paint lifting which is exactly why I get dip powder to begin with and not gel…. Clearly her telling me my nails were too short for French ombré was another way of her trying to tell me she didn’t know...

EDIT: upgraded from four to five stars, and they definitely earned it. Returned and they're amazing - won't go anywhere else, highly recommend. Clean, best and kindest customer service, and so attentive. Very welcoming and relaxing experience.

I tried this place for the first time last night - the place was super clean and the couple was welcoming and warm. The massage chairs are wonderful and they offered me a beverage. My only issue was that they used the "cheese grater" for my callouses, which I know some salons don't do to prevent infection. They didn't ask if I wanted it and I didn't mind while it was occurring, but they definitely took too much off my feet and so they're feeling a pretty raw today — I think it'll be fine in a few days but still uncomfortable. This could be prevented by being vocal and either declining the grater or telling them to stop sooner. BEWARE! The owner of this place is dangerous and crazy. He literally locked me in his nail salon for 30 minutes because his credit card machine did not work for Apple pay. He accused me of trying not to pay. Even tho I offered to go get my physical credit card and leave my phone for collateral, venmo or zelle transfer. He blocked the door, pushed me and grabbed my arms yelling that I had to pay. I had to call the police for help but they did not arrive. He finally caught on that a zelle transfer would work and finally released me after the payment went through. One of the scariest days of my life AND it happened to be my Birthday. I would steer clear of this place lest you get assaulted and locked in his salon because his machine...
