(Note this place is take out only) I’ve been looking for good lunch specials in my area since it feels like those don’t exist anymore and google came up with this place. I was able to call in and get a huge meal for 11.99 before tax within 15 minutes. I got the Kung Pao chicken lunch special which came with white rice and a decent sized cup of egg drop soup. I usually will get hot and sour soup if there’s a choice at other restaurants since I feel like egg drop soup is typically pretty bland but this one actually had a decent amount of flavor to it so I was happy to have it included with the meal. The chicken was not crispy like other places but instead tender saucy pieces which I enjoyed, the one thing I will say is if you don’t like a ton of peanuts in your kung pao chicken I’d ask for none because it was super peanut heavy but for me that was only a bonus. I’d definitely recommend the lunch special and I will be back to try more things...
Read moreThe gyoza was amazing. It's pan fried so half crispy half soft. Super juicy. The pork in the pork chow mein was breaded, which isn't my thing, but it was pretty good. BBQ pork fried rice was surprisingly sweet and had great texture. The General Tso had huge chunks of chicken. It was not quite as crispy as I liked but it was very tasty. The wontons in chili oil was juicy like the gyoza but with the spicyness level turned up!
Our order was ready right about as estimated time. You might not want to show up earlier than that as there is not really anywhere to wait inside without crowding the space. We waited in the parking lot and we had a pretty close spot.
The lady who attended us was very talkative and very sweet. It seems like it is her and her husband running this place and she is very attentive as soon as you walk in.
Would for sure come back, especially for...
Read moreI had dinner at this place and had such a positive experience. I ordered their beef chow fun and dumplings in spicy chili oil. They were both so delicious, especially their dumplings!! They make their own chili oil and it is so flavorful and delicious. I can eat bowls of their dumplings. It is a husband and wife owned restaurant, which they opened this year. I chatted with the wife for a long while. She shared with me their story of how they opened this place. It is an inspiring story of courage, gumption and resilience. Make sure to ask her when you go in! She also makes her own candy that she packages up and shares with her customers. They are delicious!! This place is a gem and I'm grateful that I was in this area while running errands. Do visit. It's a special place ran by good hearted and hard working people. Make sure you get her candy...
