North Indian River County Library — Attraction in Sebastian

I used to be a big fan of the library and used to financially support them every year...but no longer. I went to bring some books to the library. Most were slightly used and some had never been read before. They came straight from Amazon. I called ahead to let them know I was coming and brought the books in the backseat of my car. I met the employee around back and started helping unload the books. She looked at the stack I brought and she told me it would be too much work to sort and process them. I told her if the library can't use the books then just give them away. She didnt even look in my car just told me that the library couldn't accept them. She was completely rude and had no interest in accepting the free books. NEXT TIME SOMEONE FROM THE LIBRARY CALLS ASKING FOR MORE FINANCIAL SUPPORT THEY CAN...

I had not visited library in over year, so when I came into the library I asked the women at front desk if my card was valid. She took my card scanned it, said yes you are valid. Then she threw the card at me, yes threw; like a bounce and slide. Then I went to make copy, the system was not working so patrons were asked to use guest login I asked for help I was talked to as if I were a child and did not get any help. When I went to print my papers I put in old login, oops. The women worker raised her voice as if reprimanding me for my error. Awesome local library. I'm here A LOT. I'd go even more if I could..... It's quiet, clean and everyone is nice. They have books for sale from their circulation at great deals (I've gotten great books this way), some are even FREE! As a bookworm this is HUGE. They have lots of community events, as well as amazing kid programs. I've taken all my kids here for their story and play/kid fit programs (which are also free!). They have a great kid section with computers and play areas. We go often. Looking forward to my youngest starting school so I can start coming...
