Labor Day Wknd I was in Sebastian, from Central FL, for my Son's, 3 Day, Extremely Elite Wedding! I chose this Salon based on it's 5 star reviews, to airbrush my makeup & to style my hair, for Friday's Rehearsal Dinner & Saturday for the Wedding! However, I read the reviews after my Son's Family Wedding Photos were ruined, from my hair looking like a matted mess! Then I saw ALL of their 5* reviews, were ONLY for Haircuts & 1 for highlights! Now I know WHY? SO DEFINITELY DON'T GO HERE FOR MAKEUP, OR TO HAVE YOUR HAIR STYLED, FOR ANY SPECIAL OCCASION OR WEDDING! The Salon Falsely Advertises Airbrushed makeup, but their Freelance makeup Artist, if you can call her that? Only knows how to airbrush foundation & has a Very Limited Selection for anything else, which she presents to you saying that's she's sorry, that all of the popular colors are empty! Then she goes to airbrush my foundation & from not cleaning her airbrush gun properly, or even owning a docking jar, which is used for cleaning & storage of an airbrush gun! Which I know, because I own the exact same airbrush system! So the airbrush gun is clogged & she has to borrow the Owner's, to even airbrush my foundation! Then she changes my appt., for the Wedding Day, which I had made 3 mth prior, to 9:00 am, which I told her would be difficult for me to make, especially since the 2nd appt., I had to provide all of my own makeup & in her hurry to get to her next appt., or on purpose, she packed up my brand new 10 color selection, eye shadow palette & my brand new $60 Lip Plumper! I ended up both days, having to redo the majority of my makeup, which I've tried to post before & after pictures, of both my hair & makeup leaving the salon, then after arriving at the venue's less than2 hrs later! But it will only allow me to post one picture! On to my hair! The first stylist didn't want to put the curls from the picture that I showed her in it, because it was 5:00 & she wanted to leave for the wknd! So she literally spent 5 minutes, using a large barrel curling iron & some hairspray, then told me it would hold, in the humidity! It didn't even last until I got back to my hotel at Captain Hiram's, 4 miles away! The next day, I was called repeatedly, because I was running late for my 9:00 changed appt., that they had changed last minute on me & I had to provide my own makeup for it! So she only did half of my makeup & left before I could even go to my car & get cash to tip her, even though she didn't deserve it & I guess she knew it! But I was charged full price for it, Both times!! Then I complained about my hair falling immediately, the previous evening, right upon leaving & showed them the pictures even! So I told the new Stylist that I needed tight spiral curls, in order for them to fall, yet stay for the Wedding! She told me Shirley Temple curls were out of style, which isn't what I asked for, but said that she'd put a pre curl treatment in my hair, so that the curls wouldn't fall out! But once Again they fell out, before I was walked down the aisle to be seated at the Wedding! I paid $240 plus 2 tips, for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING & when I complained, with photos for proof & the Owner knowing that I had to supply my own makeup, because their Makeup Artist was out of everything & had less makeup options, than me! I was given a $13.00 refund & that's it! So I'll do another review & owning 3 businesses myself, I'll let you know if the Owner handles this situation Professionally & refunds my money, like she should! Since I can't be offered free future services, since I don't even live there!! However, I am a Commercial Realtor & 1 of the Top 10 in the State! So Even though I don't live there, my Son's Father In Law does! He's a Retired OB/Gyn, is a Member of the Yacht Club, Best Friend's with Will Collins & Mickey & Liz Capp, the Owner's of Captain Hiram's & every other Prominent person in Vero & Sebastian! So my review could cost you a lot more, than a measly...

Horrible stylist. Horrible customer service. Ever.

I received extremely unprofessional and unacceptable service here on Jan 30th 2021. My simple request to refresh my layers haircut, that I’ve been getting all my life, and the whole experience here turned into the worst nightmare. The stylist Tina obviously is not familiar with this type of haircut which is very surprising because it’s basics. She is also not good at professional etiquette - she offered me to place my jacket and purse on the shelf by the mirror which was confusing to me because usually it’s being used by stylist during service. And that’s exactly what happened - she did use that area during service placing brushes, blow dryer, hair spray, gel right on top of my jacket! The haircut itself took about 5-7 minutes, she cut some hairs on the back of my head using mostly thinning scissors on my thin hair (!), and started blow drying and styling using all different styling products (that I prefer not to use at all ! but who cares). Also during this service I got hit in my head hard multiple times with brushes and blow dryer. By that moment I’ve already lost my ability to speak, that’s how deeply I was shocked. When she “finished” she probably noticed horror in my eyes and offered to trim more my left side. She took thinning scissors and cut ALL my left side almost all the way to the roots pulling my hairs hard with hairspray and everything stuck to them. Right side was never touched.

As a result I got extremely unprofessional and uneven, ridiculously looking haircut which has nothing to do with layers. I was so deeply shocked that I paid, left and cried in my car looking at myself in the mirror. I cried about my haircut for the first time in my life! When I calmed down a little I googled another salon and went there right away to fix this mess. The stylist in that salon was deeply shocked by my haircut and almost cried with me. She showed me all uneven ends all over my head (including the top that was cut most), she said that an average stylist should know that thinning scissors can’t be used on my thin hair, and etc. She did a great job fixing my haircut, she had to cut off a lot in terms to fix it, and it looked 10000 times better, but I still lost all my length. And that day I paid twice for the haircut that I wanted but never got.

Later I received email from Eminence Meevo system asking for my review, so I left a very detailed review, describing all that happened, and right after I sent them an email explaining everything as well and asking for full refund. No one responded back. Next day I called and left a voicemail. No one called me back. I sent another email a week after. No response. I don’t know how much you need not to care about your customers to ignore them so carefully. It’s obviously not their priority, and I wish more people were...

I’ve been going to Eminence Hair Design for some years now and I am finally getting a chance to sit down and leave MY review. I am a local artist and by local I mean the entire state of Florida (as I enjoy photographing my home state). EMINENCE HAIR DESIGN should win an award for best salon. When I first started going there I had roots showing that were like 5 inches long and split ends. I didn’t know how to care for my hair until I met Itzia and what I like to call her crew. She taught me how to care for my hair and maintain this mane. I have NEVER been disappointed with Itzia or her team at Eminence Hair Design. When I have an event I have to attend or even my social gatherings that I enjoy hosting, I count on Eminence Hair Design to make me look FABULOUS for my public appearances. Upon arrival I am always greeted by a pleasant young redhead with a smile that stretches from the eastern seaboard to the west. I am offered water, coffee, tea, a snack and a smile. The greeting alone makes me feel welcomed and special enough to want to book my next appointment without even knowing the art that these wonderful women will create on me. Itzia and her crew never fail to turn me into the most beautiful blonde, red head, raven colored or silver haired woman I have EVER BEEN! Thank you girls for the love you have and shared in your work. The professionalism is outstanding, the girls are funny, the services are on point and the prices make me feel spoiled. Anyone who has anything to say about Itzia and her crew should be nothing but positive. They do a wonderful job, they take the time to explain everything they are doing and freely give out suggestions as to what best suits ME. I love the attention and they sure do know how to give it.
