Update:: So today is our check out day, and I wake up to my card being charged for the remainder of our stay. Even though I’ve yet to have any action taken as far as speaking to someone in management. So I went back to the main office and once again I am being told there is nothing she can do but send in another email. So I pull my phone to record this terrible service . Lady at the main desk then gets on the phone with no problem to management who directed her to call the police to escort me off the property. The police arrived and of course felt every bit of where I was coming from. When police first arrive they were told that the manager was In her car on the way to the office to speak with us in person. After about 20 minutes the police went back inside to come back out and tell me that management was no longer coming and they would call my phone in 20 minutes. The police hooked me up with the department of tourism information to have so action take that way since I’ve been giving the run around since day one. A Kenneth finally called me to only again tell me what I’ve been told “Management has yah compliant and will reach out to you as soon as they can” I then explain to Kenneth how I feel my money has been stolen he argued that I slept at the cabin so my money wasn’t stolen?So I guess it’s forget all the extras a pay for ? I basically paid 700+ to sleep and watch tv ?i could’ve done that at home or a regular hotel.i mean it’s absolutely sad and ridiculous that I’ve had to do all of this during my vacation.And these people just take your money with no remorse or care of yah time and money wasted.USA CABIN is a total rip off
Update:: So after 4plus trips to the main office, being escorted off of the property by police for recording such horrible service and being referred to Department if Tourism for further assistance. Kenneth finally reached out to me to inform me that $300 would be placed back on my card for my terrible stay. But before he could get off the phone he was sure to ask me to remove my review off google. Of course I declined due to me feeling still uneasy about that whole situation. And now looking back I’m glad I didn’t delete it because it’s been a few days and I’ve yet to get my money back and when I call I can’t even get a human on the phone anymore, I get nothing but the voicemail. Read moreThis stay was absolutely awful. I will not be staying through this service again. I wanted a relaxing getaway with specific amenities in mind. Hot tub, pool table, and to relax. We arrived and the cabin was not very clean. It was cold so we decided to warm up in hot tub- to discover there was no water in hot tub. Then decided to go play pool, where the 2 pool cues we broke, cracked and unusable, the railing around the table was broken, cracked, and warped. Foosball table, also broken. Went downstairs and thought ok 3 busts- lets try the bathtub jacuzzi. Turned it on and black/green foam was coming out of jets. The tub was dirty and absolutely disgusting, the "waterfall" above the jacuzzi didn't work. First night entire waste and full of disappointment. Next morning- I called the office as soon as they opened at 8am (after sitting on hold for hours and being hung up on over and over again and transferred constantly) now my entire morning is gone. Finally get ahold of someone who assured us maintenance would be right out to fix ALL of the problems. (I clearly knew the whole entire pool table needed replaced and that wasn't going to happen amongst others and asked for a new cabin, she assured me maintenance would let her know after the visit.) She said maintenance would be by and then she would call us back with update-on possibly a new cabin. We went to breakfast came back... nothing... called and received more voicemails and forwarding. Left again for a few hours returned nothing. At this point I am very frustrated as I am only in town for the weekend. Finally get ahold of someone around 6/630 and she views that yes maintenance had not been out to visit. Still no issues resolved, said she would look for other cabins and call back. Another hour later finally get a call back they are putting us in another cabin. Ok great- now I may be able to enjoy- go back to cabin pack up and don't get address or door code until 8pml. Finally do cabin is 45 minutes (1 hour away with traffic) so now not at new cabin until 9pm. I am absolutely disappointed with this hospitality, customer service and cleanliness. Read moreWe stayed at bear hugs and we looked for 3 months and decided to go with that one due to the amazing view they "advertising". We booked this cabin back in March and our trip wasn't till June. We got there and the cleaning crew was still there. After they left we walked in and immediately noticed not the mountain views it was advertised. It was trees and couldn't see nothing besides the mountains tops!! We drove over 9 hours to this place!! It was my and my girlfriends birthday week and we wanted a view. We called as soon as we seen that they said they would get back to us. We didn't hear nothing Tuesday then I looked up and noticed black mold Tuesday night. So we decided to go into the office Wednesday and see what they would do about it. The guy took all the documents that we had pictures and other things of a list of maintenance problems that needed to be done. He said his manager should reach out later that day nobody reached out until Friday when it was almost the end of our trip. The least they could have done was upgraded us to a different cabin with a mountain view like we wanted. The dishwasher leaked, the shower handle was half gone, black mold like all over, the jets in the tub was disgusting, they have a bull face hornet problem on the back deck, they had a leak down the one wall as I posted as well overall a very bad experience we are never going to book with them again!!!!! Then they try to give us a one free night but we had to book three nights to get that one free night so we're paying for two nights and $100 reimburse. That's a slap in the face for what we paid for that cabin we didn't take that free night and they reimburse us $350 I feel like what we had to deal with in our health was a big concern because of the black mold I don't know if it was Disturbed or not. Not for them to care like that and they knew because we told them was more of an insult to me that they did nothing about it and they put our health at risk!!!! I feel like $350 was still a slap in the face!!! I don't know how the other cabins are and I definitely don't want to find out I highly recommend...
