This charming museum is located in the Old Rectory and has more to share aside from the doll collection--there is also an antique shop which might come in handy if you do not carry cash because $3 is required to allow access to the two rooms that house the rest of the doll collection. My granddaughter was content to explore the antiques so we planned a return trip with cash in hand. It was worth every penny and so satisfying to see old friends (Barbie, Ginny, Betsy McCall, Tiny Tears.) Chatty Cathy and Patty Play Pal share the space with some really unusual dolls. In addition, there is a gift shop loaded with items that are consigned by members pf the museum. A wide variety of linens and jewelry, vintage or rare glass (vases,dishes, bowls, misc), painting and prints, games amd so much more.
And, one of my favorites, Worthington Bean Soup mix.
You are sure to find something you really like. I found a framed " Blue Boy" print in a beautiful old frame.
