Charlie’s County Market — Attraction in Shawano

I have called in to purchase a gift card for my daughter as I live in Appleton and she lives in Shawano. A woman named Debbie answered the phone very rude, by the way. I asked for the manager to purchase this gift card and a manager named Jordan got on the phone, immediately very curt and unfriendly. she said we do not do this gift cards over the phone and I have just done this over the holidays. I asked for her manager over her ame and told her i would call back tomorrow. I find it difficult to believe this grocery store would not want to accept $100 for gift card. Maybe I am wrong... more to come another side note, Unfortunately this is not the first negative interaction I have had with Debbie. We were there a few months ago visiting family and bought two cartons of diet sun drop and we were checked out and about to pay and this Debbie stopped and grabbed the carton of sun drop out of our cart and instructed the young lady to remove it from our bill. she said there was a limit and we were not allowed two cartons. at the time I thought that was quite rude but ok....maybe this is just hw this store treats...

Well on Friday I purchased 2 FISHFRY'S 1 pub style cod and 1 what was miss labled perch bites????? The so called prech was unedibal and extremely fishy. I know my fish ,it wasn't what most wisconsinites consider Perch. People in wisconsin take for granted perch is lake perch. But Chares hot food area sells PERCH. OCEAN FREAKING PERCH! A very fishy tasting fish. So if you don't like it you don't buy it. So they play the fact we're all dumb and buy not being up front by posting the actual FISH it is " LAKE PERCH"????? So my wife and e tossed that one out. Then I'm allergic to onion. The tarter sauce was laced with it. The ɓeer pub cod was excellent and potatoes over seasoned with garlic ,onion and dry. So we tossed those twice baked dissatisfied potatoes also. I later sat on the jon sicker than a dog from consuming onion!!!!!!! Not a good night $17.00 never again waste of my...

They should really win an award for most expensive grocery store on the planet. I'm not sure how people shop here, I think the only clientele that shops here are the type that are rich and don't even look at what they are spending. Thats the kind of people this store caters to. 12 K cups for $14 (on sale) you're insane. I should just go to McDonalds and get a large coffee every day for the same price.

Their frozen items are often freezer burned as well. Shopping here with any type of food share will get you stared at by the employees too, I even had one of them make a rude comment about how it must be nice that my stuff was paid for by someone else. You better believe I went off on that person and gave them a proper education about how they have it easier....
