J Doggs — Restaurant in Shawano

My wife and I were in last week. We look foward to coming here every time we are in town! We came two different days on this trip. Hot dogs and fries one day and pizza on the other. Both were excellent. We've had the burgers too which are also great! The 16" pizza (which has a tad thicker crust than a true thin crust) honestly surprised me on how great it was compared to many other companies! Very gooey cheese and topped out well with toppings and tasty red sauce! Prices are very reasonable. The service is friendly and great. The owner makes it a point to come out and talk to his customers. You rarely see that these days and adds to the experience! I saw one user put a 1 for the atmosphere being bad. Not sure what it would take to satisfy that person as the atmosphere is awesome here! It has a traditional vibe of a hot dog shop blended with classy modern atmosphere with cool lights and a neat lit up bar area along with a golf simulator and another simulator with other activity...

I’m ashamed that Google doesn’t allow a 10 star rating. This place deserves at least 65 stars. The food is amazing and fresh. Quality matters not to mention quantity when you order nachos. Loaded they are. As Yoda once said “Eat here you must!”

Service was quick, efficient, and friendly. They check to ensure you enjoyed your meal when they have time. If something is genuinely wrong they’ll fix it!

As Luke once said “I’d rather leave Han in the carbonate in order to eat his food as well!”

Tigger Wood was here to play on the golf simulator and said “…it’s the closest thing to actually being on the course! Put blinders on me and it’s feel like I was standing on the Green!”

J Doggs for the WIN! I grew up outside Chicago, but have lived in MN the past 25 years. J Doggs brought me right back HOME! The Vienna Beef Hot Dog was FANTASTIC! My wife ordered the chili and LOVED it. She said, “There are so many good tastes in this chili. It is really good!” The atmosphere is awesome inside. We are in Shawano for a wedding, but if we lived here I would most definitely be a regular at J Doggs! Employees were all kind. Food was priced well. And it was DELICIOUS!!! Would loved to have hit the golf simulator as well. What a setup!
