Antique mall itself is standard (decent selection, overall reasonable prices, good variety, limited furniture. Some "junkier" booths but some fun finds), however the staff member I encountered at check out was EXTREMELY rude and unfriendly. He didn't smile, didn't talk to us, was impatient and short. I had an issue with the chip on my debit card not working and I followed the prompt on the card reader to remove my card. The staff member snapped at me, told me I shouldn't have taken it out. Put the card back in, same thing happened (the card reader didn't recognize my card). He told me it was because I had taken my card out too early... Tried this 2 more times, until switching to a different card. Awkward enough situation as is, (we've all been there before, right?) But it was made even worse by a rude employee who implied that I didn't have the funds to pay for my purchase. When we left, there was no "Have a good day" or "thanks for coming in."

Read moreDon't know how I missed this fabulous antique mall the last time we were in KC. Staff was warm and welcoming along with very friendly. Big Shout out to the lady and man that helped us, kudos for your help and calls for us to your vendors. Most antique malls won't call, but the staff made several calls for us today. We appreciate you doing that for us, as we did buy all the ones they called on with exception of one. There was so much in this fabulous mall, Mid-Century Modern, modern, blow molds, glassware, toys, books, jewelry, etc. and all of it pretty stunning. The prices were so great and most inventory was in near-perfect condition. We enjoyed shopping at this mall as it gave us so much to choose from it was hard to decide...not ha ha. Lovely place and highly recommend this as a pitstop while en route or if you live here. Last but not least, they walk the mall which I love as it gives us more treasures we can carry. Not any of the other antique malls in KC area offered this, so kudos to this mall for having mall walkers as it helps the customer and the register people. Loved to hear how long you've been in business and wishing you...

You may find that Sam's yearly birthday celebration at The Mall, interesting and special discounts, and even food, to celebrate Sam's birthday. And don't forget Christmas and Hanukkah. There is a nice open to the public celebration, for this special time of the year. And nice discounts for gifts for those who love the old and new. And special treats and fruit homemade Christmas punch. This is open for the public, and it's a real nice way to treat old and new customers. If you can't make it to Sam's birthday party, make it to the Christmas party. All in all they have all kinds of gifts for others and yourselves. Don't...
