So I took my sister in for some painting since she had never been there before…painting experience was great… The problem is when I received 2 texts messages (myself) on the same day saying that MY piece was finished! (My sister received her own message)
With the next day being Christmas Eve I waited until the middle of next week to go pick up. I arrived and the young lady at first found my sisters piece , but was having problems finding mine. (Went to the back several times and looked through bags) I then stated that I had a Christmas tree to which she pointed me in the window area asking if I recognized my tree. I stated there was 1 in particular that looked like mine and she went and picked up the base and looked at the bottom and it had someone else’s name on it.. So she then went to the back again, and came back to the register and said, “oh sorry yours is still in the kiln!” I informed her of my texts and her reply was “I’m sorry it will be ready Monday!” I informed the young lady I cannot return in a few days due to the fact that I drove 30 mins SPECIFICALLY to pick up the items I was told were ready! And she then stated , we can hold them for you, sorry! I left…and then text the person that I received the messages from that I would appreciate that next time you send messages stating a piece is ready that please truly have the pieces ready. I receive a text later to call a number and a few days later I received a message saying please return a call. I work M-F and don’t exactly have the time, nor do I want to spend the precious few moments I have on my break to be able to deal with what I am presuming is excuses for my misplaced item. I return another week after I am told it was to be ready, to have another young lady not be able to locate my piece when I arrive. I then inform her that I believed there was a specific tree in the window that could be mine with someone else’s name on it. I also informed her I was told last time that my piece was still in the kiln! So she looks up receipts in the computer for the person that their name is in the tree and in fact there is NO CHRISTMAS TREE ORDER DONE BY THAT PERSON!!!! So this has to be MY TREE!!!!!!!!! So why is it that the first young lady couldn’t have done what she did to see this? And why did the first young lady LIE ABOUT MY TREE STILL BEING IN THE KILN!!!!!!!! If you misplaced it BE HONEST!!!! So I made 2 round trip HOUR LONG trips to finally return home with MY TREE….and having some other persons name on it!!!!!!! Mistakes I agree happen….but blatantly lying to a customers face is something I will not support!! So now I have to find someone who can help me fix my tree and remove the other persons name….and NO I don’t care to return any calls or texts or return to that establishment! Basically I got a sorry about it…and it’s my problem now….sad because my children and I are not the best “artists”, but we...

We absolutely loved coming here and had a blast creating our pieces of art, it has a wonderful atmosphere to just paint and have a good time. The only reason I am giving it two stars is because of the staff. We decided to try out pickles and pottery for date night, It was our first time there and we were absolutely clueless. We stood there awkwardly waiting for a staff member to greet us, and even after being acknowledged by a staff she still let us wait a few minutes before being asked if we had ever been there before, we told her no and she continued to explain what to do, wash hands then pick a pottery piece that we wanted to paint. She did not explain anything at all when it came to painting, only told us we needed to pick paint from the options in the frame and only came back to refill. Never asked if we needed any help or anything specific to better our art pieces with her being aware that we were new and knew nothing about painting. When we asked her about utensils or stamps to use she said “yeah just grab whatever you need” as if we knew where things where and what to grab. I would love to recommend this place to friends and family but due to the rude staff I will not recommend this...
Read moreMy son, his bonus mom, and I were so excited to come in but unfortunately were let down. We made the most of it and enjoyed our time together but the employee gave off the most judgmental vibe ever. I called earlier in the day and asked if 3 o'clock was a slower time because we were bringing in our autistic toddler and didn't want it to be too overwhelming for him or other people around us. We came in and were given almost no instructions other than washing our hands and picking out paint colors out. She sat at the table hardly interacted with us gave us no further instructions or tips. She got up to change the music time and time again and seemed to care about that more. We basically figured things out on our own. She looked at our son like he was crazy a few times which was very upsetting but I wasn't going to let it ruin our day. I obviously know this business isn't an established sensory friendly place but it was very upsetting to watch our three year old be judged through facial expressions by a grown adult. We...
