Platypus Home — Attraction in Shrewsbury

I unfortunately do not have a great review for Platypus Shrewsbury.

I purchased (3) custom made Rowe Swivel Chairs last year. Each ~$2500 and a 8-12 week wait time. After use of the swivels for about 1-2 months, it was clear (2) of them were compromised. I reached out to Platypus to support resolution. They acted and initiated a return of (1) of the chairs (which is why they have two stars) , but did not follow up with me on doing anything for the 2nd chair with an issue. They never offered an update unless I followed up. Each time they indicated they already replaced the chair (which they did not) or indicated that Rowe said the chair looked normal. Which is not possible because they never inspected the chair. I spent almost $8500 at Platypus. Their latest email to me told me to reach out to Rowe myself and attempt to resolve it with them.

I will not be purchasing from here in the future and you should be cautious to invest in their very expensive custom furniture unless you are prepared to replace it...

I can’t speak highly enough of the Platypus team and Lorraine, specifically. They walked me through the entire process of couch selection and purchase. Looking at fabrics, all height, width, comfort, etc selections. The couch turned out beautiful. After 6 months it started to have a structural problem. After buying a new home and not knowing where to begin, I paid a visit to Platypus. I was lucky enough to make an appointment with Stephanie. I cannot begin to explain how helpful she has been. She was able to help me update rooms where I had furniture which I thought was dated. She helped me with art for the walls, pillows, a window seat and curtains as well as some new furniture.
