World Market — Local services in Shrewsbury

Very upscale place where it has just about everything. I saw furniture, outdoor furniture and home accessories. I walk further in and on my right are succulent planters, pillows galore, beautiful office equipment, and desk organizers. I continue down the isle and see jewelry, scarves, ... This list goes on! What surprised me the most was the international section. I looked at cool candy and snakes from all over the freakin' world! This is making me feel like a kid in a candy store. Except no cavities.

Their return policy is 60 day so hang onto those receipts if you possibly think of returning anything. Trust me, you will find something in here that you didn't even know you wanted. Did I really buy the worry doll for my friend? Did I really buy another friend treats from Japan? Cool looking oil and vinegar pouring glass holder. Looks like it belongs in a cool lab.

They have dishes, cups, everything for the kitchen including food, kitchen goods and pots, tea kettles and a fabulous array of mugs and tea pots. Couldn't find anything I didn't want.

Thankfully my friend called to tell me she arrived at the restaurant which made me hurry and couldn't do more monetary damage. My husband will definitely thank you for that.

This is a specialty shop, and as such have pricing to match. This isn't a bad thing, nor does it mean they are in any way over priced. What you will find here are little treasures that are unique and in some cases hard to find other places and it's these treasures that warrant the pricing. Personally I love this store, it's not on my list of places that I go weekly, but once a month maybe every other month I make a visit and I never leave with out something unique or special. Sometimes it an unusual food I couldn't get anywhere else others it a very nifty thing for the house, but I am assured what ever thing it maybe its something I would not have...

Was just here one evening for some christmas stocking shopping. The cashier that rang us up was awesome. Incense pillars had uncorked and spilled all over and the cashier had every reason to be annoyed or rushy but wasnt. She even went to extra mile to complete my store perks sign up which saved me almost $40! Even through hiccups (like my internet on my cell not working and needing to be put in their wifi- plus my 3 young kids who were ready to get home) she helped me w so much patience.
