Siesta key beach parking lot — Attraction in Siesta Key

Went for the first time a month ago and it was beautiful. Very clean, had lifeguards, had a concession area, had volleyball nets. The walk from the parking area to the beach is much longer than I expected, but the sand was more compact and sturdy so it was not a killer on the feet and legs. The bathroom is by the concession area which is closer to the parking lot, so do not wait last min to try to use the bathroom if you're in the water LOL that walk is LONG. Overall, it's a 9/10. Didn't try the concession food, but maybe next time. Oh and parking was free. Got there around 11am on a weekend and still many spots available. Bonus-shopping plazas are...

So far one of my favorite beaches here in the SW! Tons of free parking, but it gets crowded. Come early to find a parking spot. If you love shells, this place has tons of them. The sand is beautiful; very fine —looks and feels like powder. The water is clear and you can easily see different sized fishes.
