Madison Carolina Bridal Boutique — Attraction in Simpsonville

Unfortunately, I did not have a positive experience with Madison Carolina Bridal. I am a 2023 bride, and I thought I knew what I wanted, but it turns out my style completely changed throughout the entire experience. Becca greeted me when I walked in and helped me pick out a gorgeous selection of dresses; however, I could only choose between two sizes. I could not try on or look at smaller or larger sizes. During the try-on process, I felt more comfortable with my sister helping. Becca did not offer any further assistance other than a few clips every now and again. After a number of try-ons, I finally found a dress that I loved. I did have another appointment and did not want to be charged a $35 no-show fee, so I explained to Becca that I wanted to attend this appointment and come back. Becca's response was "I think my 10% that is offered will cover the $35 no-show fee", then proceeded to try and pressure me into the purchase. Then Becca walked away, leaned on the front counter, and did not offer any assistance other than letting me know what time they closed. Aside from this, I have noticed that many posts on the bridal boutique's social media are about "if a bride feels it is the right dress, she should buy it". In my opinion, it should be the bride's choice whether she wants to buy the gown or not.

I had a bridal appointment here. I am getting married for the 2nd time. My first marriage ended badly and I never got the “bridal” experience the first time. The ONE thing I truly wanted was to have an amazing dress and the experience of trying on different styles and finding the PERFECT dress for my day. I instead had a terrible experience here. I can’t even remember my consultants name. She didn’t ask me what styles I wanted to try or what venue I was planning. She didn’t take the time to get to know me. She had me choose 4-5 dresses from the many racks and only allowed me to look at “my size” and nothing above or below it. Once I tried on the dresses I picked out I was not allowed to go look anymore (I asked her if I could put on the robe and look and she told me NO) and my MIL and BFF were choosing dresses for me. I felt like my consultant didn’t listen to what I wanted or pull dresses that were styles I wanted. I left discouraged and felt hopeless. I did go to a different salon a few weeks later and had the most amazing experience and found the PERFECT dress.
