Read moreYes, you do wanna come visit these beautiful falls. All the positive reviews are enough proof! 😊
Here are some details on the fun to expect. The higher observation deck is good place to start, unless this is your second + time here and you wish to switch it up and do the lower observation view which is also worth a visit. Higher view is beautiful and very accessible for all ages and anyone that can’t do a lot of walking or steps. (🅿️ tips to come.)
Once you checked out this view you can follow the signs and take a 13min walk to the lower observation viewing. This could be troublesome for anyone that can’t walk far. That being said it’s a nice brief hike that has a couple semi-steep spots.
Lower view you will see signs that say something like left for the falls viewing and right to access the water. If this is your first time I suggest going left as the view is pretty. Going right leads you to a rather rocky area that is worth going to get your feet wet yet it’s is tough to navigate especially if you have small children. I had to carry my 3 year old carefully to make sure I didn’t slip and break either of our butts.
🅿️ Tips: GPS map Snoqualmie free parking now please for the higher observation area. It’s on the right and it’s free! A short walking bridge will take you from the lot to the falls.
Lower observation parking is also free, yet less spots.
Hot Tips: consider finding a spot in the higher observation area to have a picnic.
If you see a line as your approach the lower observation point, consider finagling around it as it may be a monkey see-do situation where people are just taking up all the space for a picture. We snuck around the line and enjoyed a corner spot as there was plenty of space and we were not in anyone’s...
