Warning to all. Three times I've been here lately.. this particular store marks up their products. I've purchased several trays a week prior for $14.99 at homes goods throughout Southern California. The exact tray was DOUBLED!! $30 At this store only. Second visit I bought a particular mug for $3.99 at several home goods trying to get a set of 8.. at this store the exact mug was priced $9.99! Now the third time I found 2 exact baskets I wanted to purchase. One was marked $4.99 and the other was marked $9.99. When I asked the checker to double check price she refused and told me if I want it bad enough I need to pay what is marked. I let her know that I've noticed several times now this store has higher prices than other home goods? She responded you can thank Trump for our tariffs. I was shocked by her response. BEWARE this store makes up their own prices and when you ask why they make it political. When in reality they are just ripping you off and don't care. I purchased those baskets at another home goods for the price of $4.99 each. So pay attention shoppers at this particular store. They are definitely 💯 marking up...

Mind you, the store is not close to where I live. I ended up calling the other store and the manager there was extremely nice and said that they absolutely can process this return Not sure why this manager at this store was so condescending and rude, but I am extremely disappointed with the service here. Not to mention I waited over 30 minutes in line because they only had one cashier working while all the managers were meeting...

You might not need anything whatsoever upon entering the store, but as soon as you begin to imagine that 4 foot Egyptian statue in aisle four greeting you in your entrance everyday; the spell is cast. You've now entered the world of HomeGoods. You're on their dime now. The Solana Beach Location does an exceptional job of hiding truly interesting items throughout the store. It always feels like a treasure hunt. HomeGoods is also adventurous in its food offerings, most of which are World-Market type products you can't find anywhere else.
