Rude customer service at the Amazon counter. She was efficient but her comments about every little thing were unprofessional, negative and abrasive. A customer walked in and she went on her radio warning her coworkers to watch out for him because “this guy” was going to ask for a special discount. That was weird but ok. While I was at the counter I saw the flyer that they recycle batteries and other things and took a picture of it to show my friends. She said to me that I could just go online instead of taking a photo. I happen to have 2 AAA batteries in my car and since there was no one in line, I went to get them. By the time I got back, there were about 4 customers in line. I went to the counter to see if she could just drop them in the bucket. She saw me approach the counter and asked me, “What’s wrong, ma’am?” I told her politely that I wanted to just recycle these 2 AAA batteries. She replied, “No, you will have to go back in line like the rest of the people here!” This Staples should have her take some remedial training. I can’t be the only one that notices her lack of professionalism. She treats customers like they’re criminals. If you insist on keeping her, how about she work in the back of the store instead? This was Dec. 03, 2022 and Xander knew just what to do and Veronica helped me on the phone prior to arriving to confirm they could do what I needed. I have vision for what I want to create and they have expertise and good prices to finish a professional portfolio or Christmas Cards or the simplest project. I’m so pleased with this Staples!!! I had a variety of unique printing issues and the entire staff from first phone contact to several face-to face encounters have been exceptional.
