This shop is the only place I donate items for them to sell to the public. They keep their prices low so that those in need can afford to purchase. However, the main reason I donate and shop here is to support a shop that has our community at heart. When tragedy hits a family, Good Samaritan is there to help. I have seen them help families that have lost everything to fire, flood, abusive relocation and much more. Amy, the Manager, sends out an emergency call and it snowballs from there. If you can't pay for the help then pass it forward when you can. Please stop taking your donations to stores that continually jack up their prices to pay for CEOS fancy lifestyles, while their employees struggle to live. Read moreTo be a thrift store , it was really OVERPRICED, for example....A used men ball cap, $14...A cross body used purse ,(no brand name) ,$15. Wax melts , 5.00 and the wax was half full. I was told that they honestly would work with you on prices, not so. The soda machine took our money and when ask about it, the reply was well it was working this morning and it had soda in it ..Ok, but what about a refund....I'd rather just go to flea market or good will ...but it was worth a stop. I spent $50 today and upon picking up my bags off the counter one of them fell to the floor and broke the 2 items in the bag. Because the grater I purchased was also put in the bag. It was a heavy wood handle on one side and metal grater on the other. Much to heavy and sharp to be in with my lightweight breakables! No offer to replace nor apology for mis-packing the bag. IDK...
