Kid's Kingdom at Potawatomi Park — Attraction in South Bend

Just found out they want to DEMOLISH this awesome place for MORE parking?! I'm shocked. My kids have had fun at this park for years. It's one of the reasons we get passes for the Zoo all year as well, bc my kids love playing there when we go to the Zoo. This has to be misinformation, as this is a well loved place for kids! You can't seriously think more parking is gonna make more ppl come? The Zoo is always so busy when we come, & the Park is ALWAYS just as busy. Especially in the summer with the water stuff there the kids can do. The pool could be remodeled too! Please please please don't do this. This is one of my kids favorite parks. Its fenced in, which I love. My kids love that its big. They can play tag or hide and seek, plus there are 2 tire swings, a few different Mikey bars, like 4 slides, lots of towers for the kids to play in. Its a great park for young kids up to teenagers.
