Skytek — Attraction in South Bend

I want to start of by saying they were not my first choice as I googled and Geek Sqaudd came up. I went and took a corrupt Brand New SD card trying to see the possibilities of retrieving my photos of the card. They took the card with a look and tone of fat chance. They ran a 5 minute scan and told me nope it’s ruined and no one’s going to be able to fix it. I went home defeated. I googled different ways of getting the info and more places to maybe bring some glimmer of hope. Sky tek wasn’t the first pull up but I’m going to be real honest they should be the first company that should pop up. I walked in probably looking a mess and desperate, I explained what happened and anything I tried which was geek squad. I was told of the many years of experience he had 25 plus I believe, I knew he had some tricks up his sleeve to even give it a chance. I felt at ease even if he wasn’t able to get my files I knew that he was going to try hard bc I think he knew how important my pictures were. One AMAZING phone call later giving me just a quick update, he’s seeing some stuff come through and it’s looking on the up and up. There’s always the chance of something going wrong as it wasn’t complete. 24 hours later the beautiful phone call of I have have your files, We got really lucky and believe that most are there and complete!! I won’t go anywhere else. He saved me so much bc these weren’t my files they were someone else I was editing. I wouldn’t ever go to geek squad not only they are young and don’t care over charge but customer service is crap. Sky Tek is the way to go they update you with phone calls and give you a sense of being heard as technology can go left fast. I just am super grateful I just happened to choose them and at a great price !!...

I took a jump drive with 128 GB of data on it and 10 years of work to Best Buy to recover it. They first told me it was a "Level 2" recovery, but two weeks later they changed it to "Level 3" and wanted to charge a lot more money to recover it. Further, they sent it out to an agency that sent it out to someone else, stacking up the number of people with fingers in my wallet and access to my data. Since the guys who took my drive were clueless (the "Geek Squad" doesn't seem to really know computers any more), I believed they had done something to further damage the drive, so I asked for it back. Again, this process took over a week, and there was no communication from Best Buy about it. I ended up going in and demanding it to find out it "had just arrived." I got a text AFTER I picked it up.

After calling Skytek, I was given hope. Skytek was able to recover my data for a fraction of what the outsourced Best Buy was going to charge. Plus, their staff is friendly and keeps you updated on what is happening. After waiting a month on Best Buy to mess around, Skytek only took about a week to finish the job. I will be using them for all my future data...

I highly recommend Skytek for your computer needs. I called Zack in the morning to get my laptop battery replaced and he was courteous, professional, and said I can come in that day and he would do it while I waited. Another company told me I had to leave my laptop with them for several days or pay a very high expediting fee to do it while I was there. I had purchased the battery myself but the screws on the laptop didn't want to come out for me.
