Before going into Mattress Firm on Ireland Road, I told my husband that I didn't want some pushy salesperson following us around, trying to sell us a bunch of things that we couldn't afford. However, when we walked in, we were immediately greeted by Stephanie. We explained what we needed, and began to walk around looking at all of the mattresses in our price range, with Stephanie showing us all of the features of the different beds. We settled on one, and ran our credit and went through with the purchase, after which we preceded to stand there with Stephanie for a good amount of time, (there was no one else in the store), chatting, and, for lack of a better term, hanging out. It seems we have quite a bit in common lol. She did her job well, giving us all necessary facts to make an informed decision, and I never once felt like she was a "salesperson". Thank you for your wonderful service and I cannot wait for our new bed to arrive...

I had a worst experience of my lifetime with them. I am a back patient and I was told to buy a mattress which in their opinion was really good. I was given three days to try to get a full refund. I couldn’t sleep for even one night. When I tried to return they said I should try for 3 months for my body to get adjusted. How can I try for 3 months when trial period given was just 3 days. Their behavior was totally changed at the time of return. The sales person tried to convince that they know better than a chiropractor as they are in business for a long time. That was the worst customer service I have had. I felt like they discriminated because of my race. I would NEVER recommend to buy a mattress here. John at the Ireland Road, South Bend location was very professional, helpful, and friendly. He had great knowledge of all the products in his store and was able to explain any questions we had in a way we could understand. He helped to show the differences/similarities in the mattresses and brands we were interested in as well as promoting the stores sales. He wasn’t pushy, didn’t talk negatively about competitor’s, and gave us time & space to shop around and talk alone. I made the purchase on a Thursday and am expecting delivery on Sunday. We saved a lot of money on good quality name brand mattresses and accessories. Great employee, great salesman, great experience. John gets a 5 start...
