AMI Escapes Boat Tours — Attraction in South Bradenton

This was by far, the best tour our family has ever experienced. We had a group of 10 (my parents, my husband and I and, our six kids). We scheduled the 4 hour tour and it amazing! The kids were never bored. This was completely catered to what we wanted to do. We spent as much or as little time at the different islands as WE wanted. The captains are very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the area. When getting off the boat to explore, the captains were taking videos and pictures of our family and kiddos using the scooters and equipment that they had on board. I love having videos and pictures of the kids and this made it so I didn’t have to worry about capturing the moments, they had it covered! As our time was close to ending, there was one island that was too windy to get to earlier in the day. My Mom really wanted to visit it and the wind had died down enough to go. They made it happen for her! The boats are clean and beautiful, and the captains were very personable. This was such personal and customized experience. Booked a tour for 9am tour, got a text a few hours later saying there was an issue and they were actually not going to be able to accommodate us and asked if there was another day we could go, which we couldn’t as we were leaving the next day. I checked online and it showed availability for a 4:00pm tour so I asked to be moved to that, not sure why it wasn’t presented as an option to begin with. Our Capt was extremely nice (Lane) but our tour was less than an hour due to weather, which we understand happens because it’s FL but was disappointing because I had specifically booked the morning tour to avoid the afternoon FL storms. We did receive a full refund but I have had to ask 4 times for the picture Lane took of our family to be sent to us and still have not received. It’s the only picture we got of the 5 of us our entire vacation so was really hoping to have it (this was not Lane I have been asking but the main number). Amazing morning with Captain Angel! I am so glad we chose AMI Escapes. We’ve been vacationing in AMI for years but have never done a dolphin tour. My family (in-laws, husband, and 5-year-old son) decided on a private tour, it was the perfect morning! It met our expectations and more! We saw dolphins, manatees, snorkeled on the sand bar, then beached the boat on a small little island so my 5-year-old could search for shells. He was in heaven and will remember this trip forever.
