I’ve gotten a couple piercings done here, jewelry change services, and plenty of jewelry purchases here. I love the variety of jewelry, though it’s kind of pricey so just prepare for that before.I appreciate that it’s an APP shop and I overall like the aesthetic of the shop.
There has only been one negativeish experience I had was with the last piercer I had, brian I think his name was. The piercing experience it self wasn’t bad, but he did fail to tell me after care instructions and seemed rushed overall, so I ended up contacting a different piercer/using google to look up the specific after care for my piercing. Also, a big part was that he completely ignored me the many times that I have attempted to reach out regarding questions of my piercing, concerns, or just after care related questions. specifically on social media. Im not sure if it was on purpose or what but I would message him multiple times and he would respond once, then completely ghost me and leave messages unanswered/read for days after, and remain active on social media for days. It kind of threw me off because I expressed concerns for some of them and he opened the messages, so after being ghosted I just decided to leave him alone , & because of this I ended up going to a different shop to look at it during the healing process. I am only mentioning this because from my experience and the plenty of different shops/piercers i have been to, thebpiercers I have been to have all been very helpful post appointment and always tell me to just message them or dm them if I have questions and they’ve always been very responsive/helpful. I appreciate that from piercers when they are helpful in that way because I can’t just drive to the shop whenever I have a question, I have a full time job and am a full time student so I don’t have much free time lol.
Also, i was went in a different time to be downsized for a piercing with brian but it was downsized to a completely wrong size, and it wasn’t healing because there was too much room for the piercing to move even after he downsized it. im sure it was an accident on his part so i never called or anything but i ended up having to do it myself again because I didn’t want to drop more money on the service after the first time, so I just ordered the tools on Etsy. but other than that, chux, is great , Madison is very nice and patient, Haley & Peter have been great to me. One of the girls at the front her name starts with an k I think was a little rude and condescending over the phone a couple times to my friends. But other than that, I’ll hopefully come back in the future for a different piercing i have in mind.
Overall: Atmosphere: 5/5 Quality of service: (dependent on piercers, but I think chux, Kirsten, both Saras & peter have been awesome):...
Read moreI have nothing but positive things to say about this shop. I love piercings but sometimes don't feel comfortable in tattoo shops and other piercing shops due to social anxiety, but I felt welcome and appreciated by the sweet staff at the front when I walked in.
I love how sweet and friendly the receptionists were, and how they genuinely seemed interested in the piercing I was getting with my boyfriend. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how clean the shop was. The floor was freshly washed and there was probably not a speck of dust anywhere.
The covid precautions they follow are very nice as well, they all wore their masks properly and even require a negative covid test for facial piercings that require masks to be taken off.
I went in to get my industrial piercing redone in my left ear, because I took it out a few years ago. Chux was my piercer, and was very thorough in measuring my ear and even helping me pick out jewelry. The amount of jewelry they had to chose from was staggering, and I was able to have the bar match the rest of my earrings (which is something that bothers me a lot about other piercing shops I've been to.)
Chux explained the process well, was very informative to aftercare and even educated me on the importance of high quality titanium piercings and that if I were to ever go to another shop to make sure they're APP licensed. Chux was being a mentor for an apprentice who's name I don't remember, but he was explaining the piercing to her but it didn't slow the process down at all. The team was funny, welcoming and genuinely a pleasure to be around.
The actual piercing was very painless, and I was shocked at how little it hurt compared to the first time I had got an industrial bar done. Chux explained they used high quality piercing needles that do less damage to the skin (which is something I didn't know existed.) He also recommended that my boyfriend get different piercings for his first earlobe holes since the ones he had in were low quality and dirty.
All in all, I had such a wonderful experience here. I don't think I ever want to get another piercing done anywhere but here, because the service and atmosphere was excellent. They even gave us each a free bottle of aftercare spray, something other shops charge for. The experience and quality of jewelry/piercing was absolutely worth every penny. I'm so glad I came here to get my industrial redone and can't wait to be a return...
Read moreSo sadly we had such a bad experience I feel the need to update my review. Yesterday my teenage daughter had an appointment to get her third lobe, helix and conch pierced. When we walked in the sweet young lady at the register helped her pick out jewelry, and gave me a total estimate. We then waited half an hour past our appointment time (which was a little annoying as she had to go to work but it happens). Then some girl we have never seen comes out to take her back to pierce her. We were expecting Pete, but we figured they were busy so okay. We tell her what piercings she's going to have done, and she marks all the spots and asks our approval. My daughter wants to start with her thirds so she does the left ear, no problem. She then does the right ear and immediately I can tell something is up. She nervously laughs and says she "pierced it all wonky" and wants to redo it. Then she says "lets to the last two a revisit". She does her helix and conch and while my daughter is a bit sweaty from the pain she's okay. I then look at her third and it's awful. I tell my daughter she should let her redo it. She agrees. She pulls out the post and proceeds to hold gauze on it to stop the bleeding so she can see. She then switches the gauze with one SOAKED IN ALCOHOL at which point my daughter winces, and cries out a little. She's then like "I'm sorry girlfriend that was a stupid move on my part". Ya think??? She manages to finally stop the bleeding and repierce the lobe and this time it's better. I have to say this was an incredibly disappointing experience. The piercer was a "guest piercer" and perhaps they should choose who they let pierce in their shop more wisely. We have been coming here for a long time, and have always had great experiences but this was terrible. If your only job is to pierce, then you should be able to do it competently. Because of this experience something simple like a third caused more pain and trauma then her helix and conch together which is crazy.
Have now taken both my daughters here to get pierced and they do an amazing job. Super...
