The Village Commons — Attraction in South Hadley

Absolutely delightful!We visited to make use of a very generous gift card from a niece and spouse, at Johnny's Bar and Grille, a very unassuming name for an incredible dining experience.The very ample seating for a Sunday afternoon luncheon was handled expertly upon our (no reservations) entrance, by a personable young man, who offered our choice of booth or table, and escorted us to a window table, where we could people-watch, outside and in.The waitperson introduced himself as "Arthur", and quickly offered water, while the menus on the table were perused.He was very helpful, without being interruptive and made note of our questions with helpful information on selections.We decided to try the " Fig n Lime", which was an excellent cocktail.I wanted a side salad, which Arthur quickly explained the size, which the amount was exactly what I was looking for, along with Thousand Island dressing, along with a Reuben sandwich.I appreciated that he brought the salad alone, so I could share a bite and croutons with my sweetie.Then, both entrees were presented, she ordered the salmon dish with mixed vegetables, absolutely wonderfully prepared.( I know, becuz other than the few veggies she shared with me, she maintained her badge of distinction to the Clean Plate Club.)All in all, a wonderful dining experience, which I know we will return to, in the...

Went to the movies at Tower theater and then out to eat at Johnny's Bar & Grill. The Tower theater is a small theater showing top movies with extremely comfortable seats and popcorn thats still popped there! Can't get better than that! Small but clean bathrooms too. Stairs, but elevator is available. Afterwards going for pizza and salad. The pizza was with errant, thin crust hot and delicious. The salad was fantastic with great dressing. For a shopping mall, I think this is a beautiful place. They have various shops and restaurants, as well a a small movie theater. Its located in South Hadley, Massachusetts just a stones throw from Mount Holyoke College. It's a trendy place and people of all ages go here. It is well maintained. It is located on the Town Green, and during the summer they have live music at the gazebo. I think most people will enjoy shopping...
