East River Front Park — Attraction in South Jordan

Super fun for a lot of kids at once and any age, ability friendly. The ground is blue and green fake turf and some places felt cushioned. Two saddle swings and two harness swings. Equipment includes interactive toys and musical mallets and drums. Climbing rocks and animal statues, rope railings around the walkways and a rope stump stepping, a rocking boat, ramps and steps, slides, some internal shade where the slides are but otherwise not much to shade the equipment area. Very easy for parents to join kids on the equipment if needed and not a ton of blind spots. Not many benches around but pavilions at a viewable distance. Large pavilion at the nice size parking lot has many bench tables and stationary grills. Probably restrooms (it looks the same as the pavilion in the park to the west across the river road). Immediate access to the river trail goes by this park. Lovely...

This is a super fun park!

BEWARE OF CYCLISTS for some reason cyclists in this area love to yell at and harass children and moms walking along the river path. They also zoom past at dangerous speeds.

Just so everyone knows— cyclists LEGALLY have to yield for ALL pedestrians.

Their bikes are considered vehicles. Don’t let them bully you!

A nice stroll trail if you want to have a long chat with your friends. Nothing special to see except a pond in some point of trail. I seen some bikes going through the trail so the trail could be used for biking. There is some pavillons with tables while you walk along the trail if you want to stop and sit. Also, there are big fields of flat grass if you want stop and play some ball or do some workouts. Only thing I wish is huge office buildings are out of eye which would make this trail perfect for strolling while staying...
