Tao SPA — Attraction in South Jordan

The massage itself was great, I received a Groupon gift from work and went in with my sister. There wasn’t a lot of communication beyond the fact that we were paying for one in cash and given the price over the phone and had a Groupon for one of them. We went for the full body experience. Although it is in a house, I found it comfortable and relaxing. There was a point that a man walked in and we could hear him talking as we laid there naked, kind of awkward. The reason I am giving 3 stars is because at the end I handed them the money for my massage and an additional $18. The masseuse laughed, and refused to take the money, insisted on running my card because she wanted more money for the tip. It was all of the cash I had, she would not stop telling me “no, you need to tip more”. I work in the service industry, I understand tipping. But I feel that $30% was more than I had planned on and that 20% for the two massages sufficed. Especially since one was a gift. I didn’t at all like the fact that I was forced to leave an additional tip on my card. I won’t be returning because of how awkward that made me feel. Which, honestly, is too bad because I loved the massage and otherwise would recommend to my friends. Tao Spa massage studio is consistently spotless clean.The linen on the massage table always smells fresh. It’s a welcoming place, The latest remodeling is making Tao Spa a more welcoming place. Each massage room has a comfortable new massage table with the appropriate lighting, and great temperature settings. Currently Tao Spa has three professional masseuses with excellent massage techniques, reflecting many years of accrued skills.

I highly recommend Jenny as a kind, discreet and thorough masseuse. She carefully massages the body and any aching or sore spot in the body experiences healing after one or more massages. Furthermore, Jenny is an ethical person who fully respects your body. She is intuitive and an expert in her field. She is consistently cordial and professional. No two massages are ever alike. Depending on where you are hurting Jenny will modify her technique to give you the necessary body relief.

I have been a regular for over three years, and during this time TaoSpa consistently has hired professional and knowledgeable masseuses.

READ MY WHOLE REVIEW!! The first time I went here I was massage by a male, he did a great job. And was a great experience. So I brought my son back. I this time had a WOMEN massage me and it was by far the most painful and worst massage I have EVER had. My skin is so sore and I have bruises all over where she insisted I had deep knots. I kept telling her she was hurting me. And at one point I seriously thought It was a joke someone was playing on me. I have had many massages, and NEVER had I had a massage like this. My only regrets is I didn’t get up and leave!!! I actually paid for her to what felt try and tear my skin off. At no point of the massage was I like “this feels good” . At this point I’m wondering if she’s went to massage school. If she’s licensed. The moves and things she was doing I’ve never had done ever.
