Stagecoach Chairlift - Heavenly Ski Resort — Attraction in South Lake Tahoe

It used to be our favorite. I was verbally attacked by a gang, led by a false accusation from the staff. I’m the woman surrounded by white male who’s banging on the window, cursing rude words and threatens. Extremely sad event that ruined the beautiful mountain for me and everyone else involved. Can’t believe this is happening in 2022.

Where do l start? The parking staff, Lefty, does not know what they are doing. I come every weekend and there are times I observed him yelling at customer a rude attitude. Today, sadly we’re the ones to be yelled at, but that’s only a start of a horrifying event.

We were specifically instructed by another parking staff to turn around because some one else cut in line, we followed the instructions turn around to the last line of parking where Lefty’s near by.

Without even conversing with us, Lefty IMMEDIATELY started to call us IDOIT simply because of his ignorance of what was happening and did not listen to us. Could have been a easy situation to converse politely and that’s it.

Instead, when we parked perfectly in place, he repeatedly scolded us to move, yelling words, showing zero respect or interest in what I had to tell. As a cascading effect, the surrounding customers thought we were doing wrong too, and started to bully us for doing nothing wrong at our spot. Making terroristic moves like banging at our window.

However the climax of this event was yet to come. Half an hour later, a particular customer who knows Lefty even approached us threatening to have looked us up and would f*k us up. “I have friends… I looked up your plate and I know you live local… I know you and we can easily f$$k you up”

What does it mean? Will this be the last internet archive before I get tracked down at my home?

You see how a person with authority act without responsibility could influence others and could impact real people’s life like this.

All I did was respond, to try clarify to these false accusations. As a woman who never raised my voice with families, friends, colleagues and strangers, today I’m surrounded by white males to shut down every word I had to say, I was barely given a chance to respond to the false accusations, never a complete sentence.

Why am I being assumed fault? Is it because of someone with authority led the blame? Why was I not treated with basic respect?

If you're an intermediate skier, this is the place to park for skiing at Heavenly. Parking is free (even if you aren't staying at the resort) and you have walk up access to the ski lift. The lot does fill up so get here early. There's also a free shuttle that runs between stagecoach and boulder, where the green runs are at. If you're a beginner, park at boulder lodge (it's free as well) and you'll have the same walk up lift access. Both locations also have a full service shop and...

Go-to resort in Northern Nevada. Easy access (via high speed quads or 6-packs) to good snow, can get crazy on the weekends. I've been a pass holder for almost two decades, and can't imagine paying day-pass prices... Good picture spots all around the mountain, if that's your thing. I love the fresh tracks I get for the first hour most weekdays. Well placed lodges, good information available by tweet/website (skiheavenly.com) and a fairly honest snow base indicator....
