Originally I posted a low score without additional comment but here it is because I'd like to see things get better.

1/ Please put a sign up front saying, No Table Service - seat yourself, order at the counter. This would clear up a lot of confusion with patrons who have not been there before. And even some who'd had table service prior. That's what I saw, several groups of hungry adults sitting and waiting for service. 2/ We only had pizza so maybe I missed something or ordered wrong. With the plain pizza I think the selection of toppings is fine and the sauce... I don't remember anything about it. But the crust is pretty bland. The base of a pizza is bread. You can make it thin and golden like a cracker with a nice snap, or you can make it fluffy with some bark on the bottom but it should still tastes like something you'd want to eat on its own. This was like a super plain bread stick in flavor any other elements aren't interesting enough. Also, if you're going to make a "large" pie that thin, make the pie larger. Please. 3/ We were there about 15 minutes before our table got cleaned. Lots of youngsters working there and I'm sure many of them are learning the ropes and it wouldn't be fair to criticize them, but it added to the general air of disorganization. All of the above is why I didn't leave a full comment initially because maybe it was an off day? Working in the service industry is tough, running a successful restaurant is even...

Food handling is bad: 1- Pizza man handle money and food at same time with bare hands. 2- Pizza man scratch his nose and back to serve pizza. 3- Pizza man touched my pizza with no cloves on his hands, after take it out off the oven. 4- Pizza man wear no hats. 5- Bathroom where customer wash hands smell bad in three times went there on deferent days. Definitely needs some fresh air or any sort of exhuast fan. 6- Both soft drinks fridge not cooling enough. 7- the young man who cleans the window withe windex, should make sure not to spray while people eating close by. 8- need a newer air conditioner unit. The store owner/ manger needs to pay attention and train staff on proper food handling. If this store was in New York, health department inspector will shut the store down with heavy fine. This is typical servings food places where food handling is terrible in new Jersy,...

I'm a bit disappointed in my experience recently picking up as I've previously patronized this establishment with no issues. I've ordered a full pie via phone with the same toppings I ordered 2 slices with on this visit and it was apparently an issue. I was refused by the first chef, the cashier told me it was because it wouldn't bake well ( when I've gotten the same exact toppings before). I explained that I can't eat many of the ready made options because of dietary restrictions so she rung me out for what I requested then told the second chef my order and he had an attitude. I'm confused why it would be an issue to accommodate with readily available toppings. Then to make things worse, one of the toppings were incorrect and slices looked sloppy. I usually order from here because it's close by but I have no issue taking my business elsewhere if it's such an issue to...

I ordered off Uber eats. We were looking for a seafood pasta plate to eat. The food was fresh and great packaging. No leaking. The meatballs weren’t that awesome but it’s just a personal preference as I found it not as tasty and dried. But my husband loved it since they were large. The seafood scampi was great. We ordered it with fettuccini pasta. The mussel we got in sweet sauce (red pasta sauce) and they make a pretty good red sauce. The bread they sent with the Caesar salad was so moist and soft. It added a bonus as we ate it the following day for breakfast. The garlic bread was ok large cut pieces. I would order other Italian dishes from here again to try their lasagna or chicken plates. P.s we added our own Parmesan cheese to the Seafood pasta and it gave it an amazing touch. Otherwise it would have been a bit too watery for us.

The Village Trattoria is a great pizzeria. They have great sauce, it's not runny sauce like other places and the flavor is delicious. I gave a 4 star rating because of the price of the speciality pizzas are $25, which for me is costly. I've gone to some pizzerias and the specialty pies are about $20-$21. But then again, the $25 is worth the price for the bold flavor you get from Village Trattoria. Also, the pies are filled with whatever toppings you pick. The BBQ chicken pizza is amazing, the BBQ Sauce is soo good and chicken pieces are breaded, which providesa great texture. The Buffalo chicken pizza was good too!

Just came to comment because it's disappointing to see this resturant serve the same uncalled for orders again and again. Usually my orders come out wrong but I don't complain. However, this was unexceptional! When I got home what I discovered was this melted heated mess when I opened the pizza box. I could tell this pizza was reheated and not fresh, the bread had been ripped off from behind. To the point when I was trying to grab a slice the paper under the pizza had melted within. Being busy can be hectic but at least have the decency to not serve...
