McMorrow Field — Attraction in South Saint Paul

Great park to run, walk, or bike around. Very well kept playground and lots of green space to wander. There are soccer fields set up here but I have never seen them in use. Parking lots are both open, one side was closed last year but open now. One drinking fountain and watch out, the steam goes high and over the side. Also has a space for dogs to get a drink, at least it looks like it. Only negative I have is that the restroom was locked up and while there are 2 or 3 porta potties I'd prefer a more typical bathroom. Great place to watch the planes land and take...

Beautiful new amenities and upgraded features. Park resides next to a small airport where families can see small craft takeoffs and landings of modern and historical airplanes. Ample seating with parking lot and street side parking. Water fountain and port-a-jons available. Long walking path surrounding the soccer fields is a plus!
