Absolute hidden gem! My wife and I have visited from Arizona and per my wife’s recommendation we tried out Peking Cafe. WOW! Truly some of the very best Chinese food I’ve ever had. The sesame chicken was cooked to perfection and the cream cheese wontons were incredible. Service was top notch, everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Got to chat with the owners and was told they’re the 4th generation running this restaurant. Prices were beyond reasonable especially for the portions and quality. Interior might be dated, but that’s part of the charm. You feel warm and cozy inside like in the good old days. Overall highly recommend as it’s a true gem that will be on our go to list every time we visit the Twin Cities area.

A Family Favorite for Decades! We've been loyal patrons of Peking since it first opened in 1970, and it's still our go-to spot for delicious, comforting Chinese food. The service is always warm and friendly, and the quality of food is consistently amazing. Despite inflation, the prices remain surprisingly reasonable. The cream cheese wontons are unbeatable--packed with a generous amount of cream cheese and always crispy. Other favorites include the flavorful fried rice, mouthwatering egg rolls, beef Cantonese, and chop suey chow mein. We highly recommend this place and will continue to do so for years to come! Pro Tip: They only accept cash or checks, so be prepared!

We didn't know what to expect when we visited Peking Cafe on our travels. It's a very unassuming little restaurant. The atmosphere is not modern and looks a bit rough. The many over patrons seated inside told me this was a trusted place for good food. Our server was timely and attentive, but not overly friendly. Our food arrived quickly and received a glowing review from most of our family of 5.

Ok so apparently these locals have never eaten good food before. This food is garbage and so is this restaurant.

First off sitting in the restaurant is like being in a trailer from the 70's. It's dirty and old and outdated. There are fruitflies that seem to enjoy the food, but that's about the best compliment I can give it.

The price for the amount and quality of food is bad. You spend like 8 bucks for a tiny plate, and panda Express that has been sitting under a heat lamp is vastly superior. The pork fried rice was MICROWAVED. It was dry and bland. The meat was also lackluster. Went here looking for quality cinese food based on the reviews here, left disappointed and confused as to how anyone could rate them so highly. The pop is flat and is lacking in syrup, watered down.

So if you are a fruit fly, check this place out your kind is welcome. If you are a human being, your better off eat literally any other Chinese food.

I feel bad leaving a bad review since this place seems to be family owned, but that shouldn't matter, bad food...
