Spring Valley Village City Park — Attraction in Spring Valley Village

I love this park simply because it's so tiny/compact. I only go here to walk my cat and he loves it too. I prefer walking my cat in a smaller park because it doesn't take a whole lotta effort to take him back to the car, I can keep track of him easier, it just makes him more comfortable. Though I'm not sure how it is on busy days since the first time I went there, was on Christmas so barely anyone was there. This is really a nice little park with plenty of room. It's always a plus when there are restrooms especially when you're there with kids. There's definitely a sense of safety since it is literally next to the Spring Valley Police Station. There's several picnic tables, water fountain, and a soda vending machine. My kids' favorite part is the horizontal tire swing. My only issue is the playground floor material is those tiny pebbles that always sneak into your shoes. I think mulch is a much better...

This lovely little park was recently remodeled and new landscaping and a playground structure was added. I enjoy walking here - there are restrooms and a water fountain - but sometimes wish it were bigger. I hold back from giving it 5 stars due to the parking lot being rather small.
