I go to this location out of convenience, but in my opinion the Bellaire location is better overall. The pastries & drinks are what keeps me coming back. Everything is fresh, well made, & affordable/reasonably priced. Definitely better/cheaper than Starbucks. My favorites are the Strawberry De Leche drink, strawberry white chocolate filled bun, egg tarts, the breakfast croissants, sweet bread, & so much more. Too bad the Strawberry line is limited edition though so keep that in mind. I highly suggest downloading the App for coupons/reward points!

Now on to the cons: The white trays you use while shopping around are moderately dirty 8 times out of 10. You have to pull one from the middle to find a clean one usually. Also the App is never correct about which pastries are in stock/out. So it’s not useful what so ever on the inventory. It doesn’t even show majority of the pastries they have in person. Again, I only use the App for the coupons/offers/rewards system. Last little con I have is the morning staff isn’t the friendliest esp the shorter Mexican(?) girl with black glasses working register. She just seems very annoyed about being there which makes it awkward. I’m sorry! I come here often each morning, & she’s usually working the register, but yeah I hope she feels better in the future.🫶🏼 On the other hand tho, I will say Crystal is extremely helpful, friendly, & welcoming!💕

But yeah, overall I’d rate this location a 4.2 out of 5. The cons are minimal / A simple fix (Besides the App complaint. That one is for the higher ups.) so yeah, I hope management takes these into consideration, & fixes the...

I Love the Black Forest Cake from here, if you have never had it I would suggest that you stop by and try a slice, you will be happy you did, also they have lots of Asian sweet breads, cookies, other flavor cakes, and boba & & regular smoothie & frozen coffee. There are a bunch of different things to choose from, and you can buy their cakes either buy the slice or a whole cake -( whole cake size, is expensive to me just a little fyi) but like I said the Black Forrest cake is delicious, so if you go get it I hope you enjoy it . I am not sure what the drinks taste like cause I have never got 1, but my daughter seems to really like so that is another option as well, there are so many different breads (sweet) to choose from so stop by and try something new I am sure you will find something that you will love all those go in prices from a dollar to about $2 to $3.....customer service is good as well but not as many smiling faces more like trained ants, but that is the normal, as long as the associate doesn't have a complete attitude we are good. Store is always cleaned & wipedowned ready for the next person to sit down, the store is bright and visible, it is in the same parking lot as 99 ranch. & Blalock.. so go get a little snack for yourself while you are out Christmas with. Also you can also make a Christmas gift basket as a gift, I believe that they sell gift cards , the only thing I don't like that they don't have a loyalty card especially since they use square to purchase items. But happy shopping and go try something sweet just as a bonus for...

My favorite bakery so far! I don’t know how people can be too demanding and can make up poor reviews based on the probably bad day they were having, looking for the negative side on everything. If you go yourself there, you will find out how neat the place is. I have visited in different times and the place is always clean and well organized. Staff is attentive and with pleasant personalities, they will wrap up each piece of bread in fancy cellophane bags and will pack larger purchases in nice cake boxes. This may be a smaller location compared to the others out of Spring Branch and yes, some breads may be repeated in the trays, but you can be sure everything is fresh made, of good quality and tasty. Their half moon cakes with almonds and milk tea buns are to die for. Their mango cakes taste 100% like the real fruit and the tiramisu is just wow! Sea salt caramel coffee is the most recommendable from their coffee menu, followed by the brown sugar one. Oh, and I love their Smoothie Mondays when they offer buy one get one free (smoothies also taste all natural too). And they have this small corner with some cozy seats to enjoy coffee, but for those writing negative reviews just because they could not sit in one single visit they did: it’s supposed to be a bakery, if you want to drink coffee and cake and remain sitting for a long time, go to a coffee house. My family and I, especially my kids, love this place and their products, they got new, loyal customers...

I am from California so 85 degree Bakery is no stranger to me. Since moving to Houston this year, I've been craving all its goodies so when I found out they were opening, I was a fat kid excited to go to the candy store once again. They opened two locations and the one in Bellaire always has a longer line than this one. I stumbled upon this place without knowing it was here until I drove by. Boy am I glad I don't pay attention when I drive or else I would have seen it. I mean... anyways, moving on. I was nervous about a new location just because sometimes the quality isn't met just yet because of inexperience. However, this place tastes heavenly. Everything was fluffy as it's supposed to be and I love how excited the workers are. Some places when fresh bread comes out, they don't scream it like they used to. This place does! It makes me want to buy more. Imma get fatter... If it's your first time, the must-tries are taro marble, berrytale, cinnamon twist, and coffee bread. They also sell cakes and drinks there as well. Their most popular drink is the sea salted ones. My personal favorite is the grapefruit green tea half sugar.
