Well we were going to go have our 29th Wedding Anniversary somewhere else buuuut we chose here. The last time we came the food, staff, and especially MGMT. was amazing. We do have a Saltgrass closer to our house but we decided to drive an extra 30 min. because the food and experience we had last time here was AMAZING! Um not so much this time. My husband ordered a Pomegranate Mojito and I had some watermelon drink (it was meh). Wanted to taste the husband's so when I went to pick it up and take a drink the entire bottom the glass broke and drink spilled all over my pants, phone, purse, table, and floor. We had plans to go out after but couldn't do that cause it looked like I pissed myself. Both MGMT Ladies came over to us they were concerned about no one getting cut and did bring napkins. The waiter apologized, the bus lady was more helpful and concerned than anyone else was. My complaint is not only did MGMT not offer to get us another drink that my husband literally took a few sips out of but didn't even offer to comp the drink. I had to ask the waiter after a few min. "Um are yall gonna get my husband another drink." Waiter's response "Oh sorry, I thought the manager was getting it" no Sir she didn't even ask. As we are cleaning the mess cause it was everywhere our crabcakes got there and by the time we got to eat those they were cold. After that our dinner pretty much when downhill from there. We didn't eat much of our food or dessert and took it to go. It was GREAT as leftovers the next day in the comfort of our home with no spilled drinks or broken glass. We were very cool about the situation and could have really went off. I told them a few times it was our 29th wedding anniversary but no one seemed to care annnnd not to mention we signed up for the rewards card for $25. 🤦‍♀️

We do love Saltgrass and the other Manager that is dayshift so we will be back. Just poor MGMT that night.

I did talk to my friend who is a manager at the Saltgrass in Louisiana and she did say she would have done things so much different as far as handling this type...

Had our company Christmas lunch at this Saltgrass, the restaurant experience was interesting, when we arrived, there were 8 of us in total and only 2 groups of 2 ahead of us. The host told us about 10 to 15 minute wait which is fine considering it was about around 12:45 or so when we arrived so they were finishing there lunch rush.

It was around 25 minutes later when they were actually able to seat us and the restaurant was emptying out. Our waitress took our drink order and appetizer order, she brought out the drinks about 10 minutes later and the appetizer and bread were brought out shortly after, she left and came back in about another 10 minutes to take our food order.

Our food took between 15 to 20 minutes to come out and at this point, the restaurant was down to 4 groups dining, which includes our group, so the restaurant was pretty empty.

I had ordered the 21oz bone in rib-eye steak medium rare, unfortunately for me, it ended up being medium so they had overcooked the meat, given our group size and time left before we were going to return to the office, i didn't bother to let the waitress know that the meat was overbooked and just settled with the rib-eye the way it was served.

I also had a loaded baked potato with extra butter and extra sour cream, there potatoe was properly cooked and a decent size. My house salad with ranch was tasty with the lettuce crispy with no brown edges.

Everyone else seemed delighted with there choice of food and the preparedness of their meats.

Overall, this was a pleasant experience, the restaurant is well kept, the employees do prebus the tables, and they are attentive to the...

Man man man, I loveee steak houses. I've tried pretty much every one in Houston at this point, I wanted to like this one so bad, the food is pretty good let me start with that, now the service.. quite the opposite. First time I went I didn't get my salad until after my food got there, the girl forgot and then lied and said it's customary to bring out the salads after the food there completely false. We waited a while after that to go back because that experience was so disappointing for $100+ meal, we decided to try it again yesterday and I kid you not we waited at the table 30 minutes just for our water, now yes it was a little busy but that's insane I wanted to get the check then, but we stayed and I ordered a beverage from the bar and so did my husband, his drink came out before our waters (brought by someone other than our server) mine didn't come into well into our meal I just ended up sending it back because I wouldn't have had time to finish it before my food & it was clear she completely forgot about it. The food came out in decent time but everything else was a disaster and my order came out missing a side but I just didn't even mention it at that point. The manager ended up taking care of our app to make up for it I guess but the service was horrible and we won't be trying it a third time. This sucks because we love steak & theirs was pretty good. Anyways sorry for the long rant but I just had to share because I'm someone who...

Ordered to go. 2 steak salads. Requested pink. Was very specific it had to be pink. They took my credit card info but wouldn't tell me how much my order was. According to their website my order was also supposed to be receive a 10% discount. Drove 20 mins. to Saltgrass. Paid full price and did not receive discount. Drove another 20 mins. home. Arrived at home. Steak was well done. Steaks are not meant to be well done. As I called Saltgrass, as my wife is opening up the food, she finds hair in the food. They did apologize but their response was to drive back and replace our order. Nothing else was offered. Wasn't going to drive back another 20 mins and then drive back. That's another 40 mins. for their mistake. I ended up driving back returning their food and requested a refund. 40 mins drive time. I don't recall an apology when I went in person to return the food. Nothing to offer on their behalf for their mistake or to give them another try on a on future visit. Here is what I expected... -Make the Customer Whole- "Apologize for and explain the situation, issue a refund, and offer an additional benefit for sticking with you. Have a set strategy for specific problems, but personalize each response. Great customer service can turn unhappy customers into brand advocates; poor service does exactly the opposite.," --Carlo Cisco, FoodFan So this was my experience.

Today's special...Center cut filet and a crab cake topped with lump crab meat Our group of 10 had an 11:00 reservation and upon arriving, we were welcomed and promptly seated. To start, our server took our drink orders and I asked for UNsweetened tea. She brought me sweetened tea the first 2 times before bringing unsweetened on the third attempt. Not sure what happened there. She also told us about the special for today and since I wasn't sure what I wanted to order, I opted for the special; filet and crab cake topped with lump crab meat. Appetizer sampler platters were ordered for the table which came out fairly quick. Salads that were ordered, came out fast and shortly after, our entree. It was the desserts we asked for to-go that took the longest time. We had to get back to the office by 1:00 and it was being cut close. I can't speak for everyone else at the table but my food was delicious! I ordered my filet medium and it was seasoned and cooked to perfection! The crab cake and lump crab; good as well! In the middle of our meal, our waitress mentioned that she remembered us from a year ago. Yep, we sure were there last year! Impressions are lasting!
