Springfield Twp Golf Course — Attraction in Springfield Township

I have been playing golf at this course since 1999. There have been many improvements to the course over the years, which have resulted in the very fine course, club house, restaurant and hotel accommodations that exists today. The course isn't terribly long but very challenging and hard to score well there but very fair. Regardless of how well I'm playing, I always enjoy the experience and the 19th hole just might be the best in the area. Tee times are conveniently available on line or you can call the Pro Shop. If I could suggest one additional thing, it would be a 9 hole rate. I don't always have time to play 18 holes but I must pay for 18 regardless of how many holes I have time to play. Horrible experience, had second tee time and started on back 9, flew through first 9 holes on 11th hole got backed up as there was a woman’s league that went off. Average wait time of 15 minutes on tee box. Tried to pass league but grass cutters got frustrated. Had to end the round short being didn’t have time to wait 15 minutes to tee off on each hole. Tried to get a refund for 9 holes but manager said there was nothing he could do. Don’t have tee times available if it is going to move that slow during league play or at least give some type of warning. The course itself is fine but I was really disappointed by the behavior of some of the staff—particularly theStarter and Marshal (same guy). He was rude from the beginning and even more so at the end of our round. I understand that staff have a job to do, but speaking and yelling to guests in such a condescending manner over a simple misunderstanding is completely unacceptable.Following our cart like we were a group of rowdy teenagers was not only unnecessary but also disrespectful.
