I hope they don’t treat their customers as poorly as they treat their employees, especially teens learning and trying to start being productive members of society. My 17 year old daughter applied everywhere you can think of and finally landed a job here. We were told once a lot of the girls went off to college, daytime hours would be available for her. Since this was her senior year, she expressed work study and the owner said he was sure those hours would open up during the school year. Well, let’s talk about the ups and downs. Kept refusing to put her on the schedule stating she wasn’t trained completely, yet not scheduling her to be completely trained. Finally put her on to be trained for 2 additional days, and the owners wife came in, told her the drink she made was good, then left to continue her training. That night she had someone text her and tell her to apply elsewhere because she didn’t have any hours for her schooling. That doesn’t even make sense. She told her not to continue to come in for training. The hours that she was covering for other workers, she could still do, but she was not gonna continue to put her on the schedule. Being a good parent and a motivated child, I told her to still continue to keep her commitment to cover other people’s shifts. Today she went in and covered a shift, I need to receive a text after work that they no longer needed her. Now I’m the first person to stay when my daughter does something wrong. She is polite, She has been on time, and she was excited to let me know every day she came home that she thought she did very well and she was learning quickly. For a business to play games with her head, Any teenagers head that needs to understand why they can’t have that job or why they were being removed from that job, It’s just a disgrace. These kids need to learn if there is a mistake that they made so they can continue to grow. They need to learn constructive criticism, But they do not need to be played with, Manipulated, lead on, Or made to believe that they are less than worthy to work for no reason at all. The owner obviously has no professional knowledge on how to let an employee go, Train or Mold an employee to be the best that they can be, or hire in all different kinds of people and be able to place them where they fit. If I have anything to deal with it, I will stop as many people as I can from going into this location. My daughter also expressed to me that the girls that work in this location complained about the scheduling and how it’s constantly changed on them without notice and anyone who tries to pick up their shift is denied constantly. Most of the girls that work here are very sweet, I hope they can get out as soon as possible. This isn’t a normal review for me, I hope that parents can see us and not send their kids here, Or people think twice about working here I need to get treated like a toy or an object. I’m so sorry to Anyone who has meant to feel like my daughter has felt the last few weeks. There’s so many more details, but I don’t even wanna put on here because my daughter is in need to start school and she has no job for work study now because this place totally screwed her over. What a disgusting thing to...
Read moreI practice a vegan diet. Veganism is a type of vegetarian diet that excludes meat, eggs, dairy products, and all other animal-derived ingredients. ... Vegan refers to either a person who follows this way of eating or to the diet itself. Veganism is not massively popular in the restaurant world of Delaware county. I know this, which is why I was extremely excited to see Juice Pod coming to a brick and mortar a mere mile from my home. Their menu boasted so many healthy options, vegan and otherwise, for my family. I have been there about 4 times since it’s opening. The avocado toast and kale berry smoothie have been my go-to favorites. My last experience Was through their online ordering service. I ordered two elite wraps, chicken for my husband and the vegan elite for myself. I received a call from an employee telling me they were out of tofu and quinoa. The woman was super polite and apologetic about the ingredient shortage. She offered brown rice and tomatoes to round out the wrap. I was ravenously hungry, so when I got the order home I dug in. After the second bite, I felt an odd texture so I took a closer look and found parmesan cheese in the mix. I was pretty upset. I panicked at first and then I calmed down and called the Juice Pod. The owner answered and there was an authentic empathy for the situation. He offered a sincere apology, a full refund, and a new vegan wrap. And to top all that off, he hand delivered it to my door. I was so very grateful for such a caring response. We’re all human. We all make mistakes. Luckily, I’m not allergic to dairy products. This was a great reminder to inspect my food with a diet that has so many restrictions. I am a forever customer now and I will sing Pod praises all...
Read moreThis is the second time I experienced very bad customer service from this place and its workers. The first time I ordered a smoothie and Avocado Toast, I received my Toast first and waited 10 minutes for my smoothie, I sat there and waited and none of the workers said anything to me AT ALL, when I finally said something they acted like they didn't know what I was talking about thankfully I ASK FOR MY RECEIPTS ALWAYS!! Come to find out they forgot I ordered, terrible customer service. Moving on TODAY I ordered the same Avocado Toast and Avocado Bagel with Hard Boiled Eggs. I received my order just to be missing the additional half of Bagel. The woman at the front desk was very IGNORANT, AND OBVIOUSLY LACKED COMMON SENSE, and tried to justify the fact that she was obviously wrong. Instead of going back and fourth with a PAYING CUSTOMER she should've accepted the fact that this was wrong and to obviously fix the issue like any other establishment, but instead she decided to be a disappointment to this establishment and made a complete A$! of herself, then had the nerve to say "For future References" I immediately stopped her right there, because neither I nor my family will be coming back. Again when ordering any type of BAGEL YOU GET BOTH PIECES TOP & BOTTOM, IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT KIND OF BAGEL IT IS " THIS IS COMMON SENSE" . ( I HAD PLENTY OF BAGELS AND RECEIVED BOTH FROM THIS PLACE ALONE AND ANY OTHER PLACE ALWAYS RECEIVED THE WHOLE BAGEL NOT THE THINNEST PART OF THE WHOLE BAGEL) We received the other half of bagel, and it still wasn't right, of course missing the hard boiled egg, but at this point Im not even surprised. Anyways won't be...
