Went to the Midwest Shoe Show today 3.18.23 for something that was planned for ALMOST a year! You would think they had plenty of time to plan it much better then what it was. I was NOT happy with any of it at ALL! It was BEYOND FREEZING apparently they don’t know what heat is when it’s 14 degrees outside and feels like -4 with wind chill outside as well as inside. It didn’t even feel like a shoe event, it felt more like a rummage sale that was just thrown together last minute. It was theeee WORST thing ever! Again FREEZING COLD! couldn’t feel my toes, everyone complaining how there was no heat and people paid for tables to FREEZE. It was all around just AWFUL! The DJ was terrible, more like a karaoke machine and someone just singing/talking to the songs and you couldn’t understand any of it. It was just absolutely terrible! It was an event from noon-6 and everyone packed up and left 2 hours before closing because everyone was just dumb founded on what they got into. I HIGHLY recommend NOT going to there events. Unless you want to be completely...
Read moreWe took our family to the Kane County Fair today. Just a heads up the wrist bands only last from 12-5pm on Friday. We arrived at 3:30, and purchased wristbands for the kids and I. We didn't realize the wrist bands only lasted till 5. So $10 for admission for adults and $5 for kids. The wristbands were $32 each. We got on 5 rides among all of us. Other than the rude manager in front all the employees working the rides and concession stands were extremely kind. Clean bathrooms and fair grounds. The front end manager had about ten of us complaining about this new policy. She did end up giving us each two free rides. We still didn't feel 7 rides was worth the...
